Ariana was definitely expecting her dad to have an out burst like. He didn't like Sean at all he would rather She be with some... more like her...preferably...white.
Edward was what you could say, racist. So to have his daughter date a black man was completely insane to him. And she was pregnant with his child, he would have a half black grandchild. He was out raged, just that Joan was okay with this guy dating Ariana. Aren't parents supposed to be protecting their children? Now Ariana was going to be left raising a kid on her own after Sean leaves her. Ariana should have just listened the first time when. He said to stay away from Sean and stick with Jai or Justin or even Ricky.
"Dad" Ariana said getting Edwards attention "I'm not a little girl, I'm 23 years old I'm capable of making my choices."
"Obviously not if this is what you giving the poor child as a father." Edward said taking everyone by surprise
"No I'm not about to stand here and just let you bad mouth me, you don't know me." Sean said to Edward
"Oh I know you Mr. Big Sean."
"No, No you don't. You know about my persona. I'm a different person than my persona." Sean said
"Edward, Ariana is your only daughter i would think you would just want her to be happy." Nona told him
"I don't and I know she'll be heart broken when he leaves her in the middle of this pregnancy and she'll be left to raise it on her own ruining her career and everything she's worked for. It'd be better if she just terminated it, before she resents it." Edward said looking at Ariana's growing stomach with with pure disgust
"No, you don't know Sean he would never do anything like that and he'll definitely be a better father to our child than you've ever been and a better partner than you to me." Ariana said "He won't do what you did."
"And if you can't accept that I'm with Sean and we're having a child together you can leave and never back."
Edward looked at everyone with disgust before storming out the house, leaving everyone stunned and Ariana on the verge of tears.
"I'm sorry." Ariana said as she turned back to Sean "He was really mean"
"It's okay baby girl." Sean said bringing her into his arms to comfort her
"Don't worry about him guys," Joan said joining in the hug to comfort Ariana who was obviously really bothered by the her father "this is something to celebrate, we're gonna have a new addition to the family."
*******The next day********
After the incident with Edward Sean and Ariana went back Sean's place for the night since it was closer to Joan's house than Ariana's. Ariana was still really upset with her father and the things that he said Sean was more bothered than anything he had never been in a situation like that before. It bothered him that people like that even still exists, everyone should be treated the same, there should be no difference in how you look at a person or treat them because of the skin colour.
"Baby," Ariana said taking Sean out of his thoughts "What's up you were like spaced out."
"Just thinking" Sean said
"About yesterday?" She asked him, he nodded "My dad thinks everyone is like the stereotype, please don't worry about anything he said to you he doesn't know you like everyone else does, you're the best man anyone could ask for as a partner and you'll be the best father to our little boy."
"Thanks baby," Sean said and kissed Ariana's sweetly "I was thinking, you know you've been dating for while and you're pregnant, I was thinking we should move in together you know"
"Move in together," Ariana repeated taking a second to give it some thought. Of course moving in together would be they were in a relationship and had a baby on the way on would be weird if they lived apart and harder there was no reason for them not to live together
"Where would we move to?" Ariana asked Sean, would they move in his house or Ariana's house or get a whole new place. "And could my dogs come"
"I haven't really thought this all the way through but we'll talk about and see what we want" Sean told her "And of course the dog will come"
Ariana spent the few hours they had, before they had to get Nona and go to their ultrasound sound appointment, talking about their future together, what it'll be like having a little run around the house and a possible name for their baby boy on the way.
"I'm so big" Ariana said as she looked through her clothes to find something to wear "Nothing fits anymore"
"I think you look amazing," Sean told her
"You're supposed to say that" Ariana said attempting to put on a pair of her jeans "Ugh, this is making hungry can you get my some... a bowl of strawberries" Ariana said taking off the pants she attempted to put and and threw them in a pile of clothes that no longer fit her
"Of course anything for you." Sean said
While Sean was getting Ariana her fruit, Ariana gave up on trying to find something to wear and just decided to wear some leggings and tank top with a baggy sweater to hide her growing tummy.
"Here you go," Sean said handing Ariana her bowl of strawberries

"I feel really big" Ariana said eating her strawberries "like I feel like I don't think Alexa was this big when she was four months along,"
"Well Dr. Fowler said you were all healthy and everything I'm sure it's not that big of a deal, you still look amazing." Sean told her as her wrapped his arms around her, his hands on her stomach "we gotta get going so put some clothes on"
45 minutes later Nona Sean and Ariana were waiting on the waiting room waiting to be called back by a nurse.
"Finally it's about time I get a nipote," Nona said the smile never leaving her face, she was more than excited to have the new addition to the family.
"Ariana," the nurse called out "Right this way" she said as Ariana Sean and Nona followed her to a private room down the hall. "Dr. Fowler will be with you soon."
Not to long after Dr. Fowler entered the room. She greeted everyone before continuing with the usual check routine taking measurements, weight, blood pressure etc.
"Ariana you can lay back and lift your shirt and we can take a look," Dr Fowler said. Ariana did as she was told and Dr. Fowler put the jel on her abdomen moving the transducer probe around to.
"I'll be right back," Dr. Fowler said before leaving the room to see if Dr. Richards could take a look at what she was seeing on the ultrasound. She saw something that she hadn't seen them month before and wanted a second opinion before coming a to conclusion and telling Ariana, Sean and Nona.
"Hey guys, this is Dr. Richards she's just going to be taking a look" Dr. Fowler said coming back in the room
