Ashton- I Forgot

Mainly written in Ashtons POV

These kinds of moments, the moments in which everything can change in a blink of an eye. How your life can be so perfect, how the girl you love can suddenly just go away, forgetting everything about me, about us. How something, in a single second can have such an impact on your life. Sometimes it for the good, other times it takes a turn for the worst.

After all, everything is about timing.

“Um… excuse me” I turned around to see a girl standing holding something in her hands, “is this yours?” I looked down, my phone, I felt my pockets before I finally realised that the phone she was handing was mine,

“Thanks” I smiled taking it,

“No problem” she smiled, that was the moment everything changed.

She turned around and started walking away, I froze, I wanted to go up to her, why would I move?

“Mate” Luke said coming behind me,

“Huh?” I was finally going back to the real world,

“Come on, we’re getting lunch”

“Um yeah… okay” I walked out of the shop and followed Luke and the rest of the boys to go and get some Lunch.

“Are you okay?” Michael asked,

“Yeah fine” I whispered,

“He saw a girl, didn’t you” Calum teased,

“And I didn’t do anything about it” I mumbled,

“Isn’t that her?” Luke pointed over to the counter; I quickly got up and rushed to her,

“Let me” I said handing over some money for what she was getting,

“Um thanks” she smiled to me, “you’re the one that dropped their phone?” she questioned me,

“Yeah sorry about that, I thought I could say thanks by buying your lunch”

“You didn’t have to” she smiled,

“But I wanted too” I smiled back,

“I’m Lilly”

“Ashton”

and that was what it took, a few minutes to change my whole life.  Isn’t that amazing? How something so simple can have such a big effect on you.

I just wish I knew what was coming.

*3 years later*

“Just get in the car” I laughed,

“But where are we going?” she kept on asking,

“You’ll find out soon enough, now get in” she finally gave in, getting into the car.

“If anything happens I’m blaming you” she kept on laughing,

“Why would I want anything bad to happen to you” I asked, lauging aswell,

“Because you’re Ashton” she faked being mean,

“Hurtful” I faked being hurt.

Finally 20 minutes later we arrived at the park, picnic blanket on the ground, candles, flowers, food, music, everything was going perfectly. “Oh my god” Lilly said, bringing her hands to cover her mouth, “you have no idea how much I love you” she said, walking over to me. And those were the words I needed to hear.
