Chapter 4

"so this is Damon" the crew captain said studying Damon "and who is this?" she asked

"I am Evilin, mam" I said

"you dont look like an Evilin.......but whatever"

I gave a quiet sigh of relief. "I want to help you save the girls who have been taken captive" I said bravely

"its a surprise to me why they haven't taken you already" the crew captain said

that gave me an idea. I knew that Damon wouldn't like it, well no one would

"besides we don't know which boat it is, there are way too many boats"

"like I said, and Evilin if they haven't taken you they will once they see you, they have tried to take me" Tigress said

"why not let them have us then" I said starting with a mumble then raising my voice to normal speaking

"are you just giving up?" the captain asked

"and dragging me with you?" Tigress asked

"no, if we get on the ship, us being girls they would want then, we signal you somehow and then rescue the girls" I said looking into each one of there eyes. Daemons eyes were last and he looked totally horrified"

"no" Damon said at once

"you do have a good idea but, I think Damon is right. we will send someone else not you." the captain said

I was frustrated at her answer "I want to do something for my kingdom, my father let this happen and I want to stop it" I said "I am going, like Tigress said they will get me eventually" I said storming off the boat.

I was given a bow and arrow by Damon a while ago, I had practiced as much as I can, usually at night. I had gotten to eighty five out of a hundred arrows to hit the target. I grabbed the bow out of my pack which I had on the end of the dock and started shooting. I was a ways away from the boat, there was a tree. the tree had twenty seven arrows in it before Tigress found me. she was holding an orange and a Blue Dress "you ready?" she asked

I looked at her confused

"let's get caught, make some noise and get in trouble" she said seeing my confusion

"He will let me go?" I asked referring to Damon

"we convinced him, tomorrow is the launch date and you have me, the best swords person ever to live" Tigress said proudly

"alright" I said going into an empty cave with Tigress to get changed. I saw a tail flick "you have a tail?" I asked

"it helps me stay balanced and helps me jump" Tigress said turning to face me, her orange dress looking amazing on her, she then put her hair up where her Ears would be hidden and hid her tail under her skirt. "you look pretty, not like you're a princess but a fancy dressed village women" she complemented

"good, I can't give myself away " I said rubbing a little dust on my face then wiping it off "the more villager I look the better" I said walking out with her. "wait, will they take me so young?" I said stopping in my tracks " and what do we need fancy dress for?" I asked

"there is a shop we have been monitoring, it offers jobs to beautiful ladies and once they go in they never come out. the owners claim to pay a high price and since everyone here is poor then sometimes they are eager to let their daughters work there you pretend you are there for the work, look as if you were older and you might convince them" Tigress explained. I started walking with her again

"so we apply for a job?" I ask

"yup, and to signal them we will raise the pirate flag hidden in the folds of my skirt" she said "you should be able to get a bow and arrow on the ship, and with your shooting skills help us" she added

"alright" I said as we walked up to the building. I pushed open the door and a man came to greet us

"Welcome Ladies, do you want to apply for a job?" he asked

"Yes, we heard about your great job offer and we are surprised there is room. we are hoping we might be of service" Tigress said

The man looked us up and down. he seemed to approve of me not careing how young i was, i was glad but he seemed uneasy with Tigress

"if you don't have room for both of us we can just go, I have a cousin who would be happy to let us work for him" I added quickly as unthreat like as possible.

a smile returned to his face "oh no you can both work here, follow me and you can meet the boss" he said ushering us into an empty room "he will meet with you soon" the man said closing the door

"what do we do now?" I wipered

"we just have to wait" Tigress replied

the floor suddenly opened and we fell in. Tigress seemed to be holding back using her tail or training to stop us on the slide. we just kept falling screaming as we went, it was a natural instinct for me, Tigress seemed to have forced it. The tunnel was dark and had a perfume like smell from all the other girls who went down it. we fell into a dark room, the floor was wooden like. Someone opened a door with a bright light on the other side blinding us. the people took them to bind our hands together

"hey, what is this" Tigress said holding back her fighting instincts

"let us go" I demanded kicking one of our captors very weakly. he grabbed me by my hair "ow" I yelped

"shut it girl" he ordered. I shot a warning glance at Tigress. she backed down and the man let go of my hair. we walked in silence to another room with tons of girls sitting on the floor some in fancy clothes and what once was fancy hair but now a mess and no way to fix it and some in messy clothes and hair from trying not to be noticed. they pushed me and Tigress in and we fell down the one stair hitting the floor hard. I sat up slowly stumbling over my banded hands, they watched us with amusement then closed and locked the door

"they make me sick" one girl, a pretty one with Brown hair and a simple Magenta dress said.

the room filled with quiet conversations

"hi, I am Eavilin" I said to the Brown haired girl

"I am Tigress" Tigress said

"I am Aribell" she said looking at me then turning to Tigress "you're the one who goes around helping girls, and you were the only one who got away for good, till now. how did they get you? did you give yourself up?" she asked with a hushed tone

"we gave ourselves in to save you" I said

"we have a crew, when the boat takes off, we will escape and get to the flag pole and put up the pirate flag so we can be saved" Tigress explained so quiet I could barely hear her but Aribell seemed to get it

"well the night won't be easy to sleep in, especially with tigers ears"

"dont worry, I have trained my ears to shut down at night and at three in the morning to have them listen. thats when the predators start hunting"

"we have a way to sleep around ten they stop making noise but they get us up early in the morning" Aribell said.

Time had gone by slowly, I had talked to almost every girl before the bedtime bell had rang. a lot of girls had agreed to fight with me. I moved over to Tigress and Aribell. we laid side by side, I closed my eyes and only then did I realize how tired I really was.

I fell asleep instantly.
