Time Machine? (chapter 7)

Mr. Cid blew the whistle. And the boys began their performance. They played the basketball well. But, I saw Arc played it worse. He made ​​his team lost. It's been 10 minutes, the time for first and second group was over. That was a very short time. The next group is girls group.

"Now, is girls turn. And the boys who had just finished your game, may took a break and drink something. But I want you to still here, to see your friends." Mr. Cid said.

"Well, Olette. This is our turn."

"Then why are you still here?"

Olette and I moved forward. We waited for Mr. Cid's sign. Then, he throws the ball and blew his whistle. We began our game. Now, Olette is my opponent. And Yuffie is my teammate.

Yuffie was good enough in basketball, but Olette was a little bit worse. But, in Olette's team there was a girl who was very good at basketball, her name's Connie. It makes my team lose two points from her team.

My team wasn't easy to give up. we tried so hard to beat their score. And finally we were draw. The time was up, cause Mr. Cid has blow his whistle. Afterthat, we sat and drank mineral water.

Connie approached me and said "Hey, nice game! I hope someday I will be able to beat your team."

"Me too. I hope my team can beat your team's score. You're very good at basketball, it was hard enough to get a score."

"Hahaha! not really. I'm nothing. What's your name?"

"Refia, what about yours?"

"I am Connie. It's a pleasure to know you, Refia."

"It's also my pleasure."

"Heey, Refia! that was a nice game." Suddenly Olette comes and sat beside me.

"Hah! I haven't make any score!" I answered and laughed at her.

"Me too. Do you think I do? Hahahaha!!" Olette laughed at me.

The bell was rang, and the break was started. We ended our  I took my lunch box out from my bag. When I was going to open my lunch box, Olette approached me with her friend.

"Refia, please introduce my seatmate, Katia." Olette said.

"Oh. Hi Katia! I'm Refia."

"Hi Refia, I'm Katia, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

"Refia, wanna go to the canteen with us?"

"Well, yeah."

"Yay!" Olette said.

- At the canteen -

I sat on the bench, and began chat with my friends.

"I thought you're not bring lunch." Katia said.

"Actually, I seldom buying food on canteen since I sat in junior high school."

"Hang on here, I wanna buy something." Olette said as she walked.

I opened my lunchbox, I ate it after Olette came with her food. While I was eating, I saw wet footsteps who walked. But it has no owner. I couldn't believe to what I had just saw.

- After school -

"Aunt Susan, today I will home by myself." I had just sent a message to Aunt Susan.

I saw Yuffie on the river, yeah she was fishing. She looked back, at that time I was the only one who walked there. I didn't think that she'll wave me, but she did. Then, I waved her back and walked away. On the same time, Arc bumped me as he ran in front of me.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, I am so sorry...!!" he said and then he ran into the forest near to our school. I was so curious to know what happened, so I followed him.

 - At the forest -

He ran too fast, I wasn't fast enough to followed him. From a distance, I heard his voice shouting loudly. "Whaaatttt!!!!! Stop following me, you're enough to make me feel discomfort." That was Arc, I still able to heard his voice, it's mean he wasn't far from me.

I approached the source of his voice, but I was too careless because I showed myself in front of them. Suddenly, they're stopped chatting.

"Refia what are you doing in here?" Arc asked me.

A man with blondie hair, I mean,, a man who I ever saw on the roof of my house. Yeah, it was him! He threw a knife to the ground, it emits a light that swallowed us. I felt the light swallowed us and then threw us so soon.

"Where do we are?" I said loudly, it makes all of them stared at me.

"On the backyard of my house." The blondie man said.

"Your house? In the forest near to my school??" Arc said.

"Hahaha...! I will tell you later." the white haired man said. 

"Is he crazy?" I asked Arc.

"And again, why you always following me?" Arc asked me.

"When I met you after school, you're acting weird, and it made ​​me curious. Then, I followed you." I answered.

"Would you like to stop interfering all of my issue? They both were enough bothered me, and now you.....argh...!" Arc said.

"Calm down, dude." the white haired man said.

"I wanna go home!" Arc said and then left us here.

"Wait!!! This place is no longer your hometown!" the blondie man said.

"Oh yeah, really?? I don't care!!" Arc said.

I followed Arc, because I knew he would go out from this forest. I hope he remembered the way to go out. Casually, the two men were following us.

"Arc!" I shouted to Arc.

"What!" He shouted me back.

"Wait!" I said.

"Hhhhh!" Arc sniffed.

"They still following us." I said softly.

Then, Arc looked back and he looked at them with upset face.

"You guys, what do you want from me?" Arc asked them.

"An interview." The whitee haired man answered.

"I feel like a fool when you guys asked me those stupid questions." Arc said, now he really looked upset.

"You must open your eyes, this place isn't your hometown! I had just brought you to my hometown by my father's time machine." the blondie man said.

"Time machine? That was a stupid invention who appeared in sci-fi story....whooo that's great!" Arc said contemptuously.
