Looking Into the Stars

As they lay down together in the tree, they stare at the night sky. She was leaning into his shoulders as he points at some of the stars.

"And that's the Orion." He said as he point at that certain constellation. She didn't reply, she is too happy to spend time with him.

"Erza, are you awake?" He ask. She move away from his shoulder and look at him. "Yea."

He gave her a smile that shook her world all the time. The smile he gave her when they were kids. She smiled at him back then stare at the sky.

"Is it bad that I used to think that we were star-crossed?" She curse herself for bringing that up.

They've been together for a month now. She finally convinced him to forgived himself. After that he all of a sudden ask her out, which she gladly accepted. It leads them to this day, them on the tree cuddling, looking at the night sky.

He look at her seriously. "I don't blame you." He said, pain evident in the tone of his voice.

"Jellal"

"No." He sigh, "I also used to think that too, I used to think that we can't be together, all because of me."

The scarlet mage comfort him by cupping on his face. She notice that he was smiling all of a sudden.

"I used to think." He reassure, "Not anymore."

Those words were enough for her, she put her lips on hers. It was sweet and gentle. She pull away because the kiss leave the both of them breathless.

"I love you, Erza."

"I love you too, Jellal."

They smile at each other like idiots. She leans back at his shoulder and slowly close her eyes.

He look at the beauty sleeping on his shoulder. He gave her a kiss on her head. He hold her protectively and said, "Thank you, Erza."

Nevertheless to say, they sleep together peacefully until the sun rises.
