Sophia's POV

I was being gagged, a dirty cloth was wrapped tightly around my mouth and a rope was tied tightly around my wrists. Attempting to kick and scream I was immediately restrained by Fabio, who put his hands around my neck, squeezing slightly. "The more you struggle, the harder I'll squeeze, so shut it." He looked more than pissed off, Fabio was furious and he was taking out that anger on the nearest person to him. Me.

"Get Sophia out of here and make sure she doesn't try and escape, a single sound out her mouth, don't hesitate to do whatever you can to shut her up." He stared at Casper and eye patch, seriousness clear in his tone, did he just give Casper the green light to hit me, or worse, eye patch?

I felt sad for this man, he was all alone in this big dark world and felt the best way to find companionship was to kidnap an innocent human being. He was fighting a losing battle and somewhere deep inside that twisted mind of his he knew it too.

"Quick, go!" He ordered, giving me a lingering kiss on my forehead, however there was something different about his usual cold kisses, it felt like a goodbye. I should have been relieved, but this kiss seemed to hold more to it, much more than a goodbye.

I didn't have time to voice my protest before I was dragged away by Casper and eye patch.

Demetrius' POV

I saw the recognition on the face of the two men who blocked our path as we proceeded to raid the huge infrastructure.

Their eyes zeroed in on our group, deadly and cold as their guns pointed directly at me. We eaisly outnumbered the pair but that seemed unimportant as their main goal was to kill me, the others could wait.

"Do it." Alexander ordered. Those two words was all I needed, when I shot blindly in the direction of the men. We took cover as all hell broke loose, slipping from stray building material to doorways. Camouflaged by the disarray of heavy equipment that surrounded the room, we stalked in, converging into one large net around the two men.

They stood back to back, turning in a slow circle, guns raised, attempting to find a way to watch us all.

Josh, a member of Alexander's team spoke up. "Where is the girl?" He demanded, glaring at the two men, just looking at them I knew they wouldn't talk, they were under oath, just like everybody else in this place.

One of the men laughed, his wide eyes danced with amusement. "We're not telling you shit, but I'll tell you one thing, just between us...Fabio is probably somewhere in here having his way with her right now and there's not a single thing any of you can do about."

He looked directly at me, sending a mocking wink my way. I stared emotionless at him, damn Alexander's rules, I was going shoot this pile of shit and I was going to enjoy it. Pulling the trigger, I aimed for both his legs, hitting my mark with ease.

Everybody else in the room watched in shock as he fell writhing in pain to the floor.

His partners retaliation was immediate as he simultaneously shot a member of our team in the stomach, causing us to fire back, the shot went straight through his skull, killing him instantly.

"Drew?" Alexander questioned, watching as the young recruit held his bloodied abdomen in shock and pain before collapsing to the floor, I went to check his pulse, his face was pale and his hands were shaking, the pulse was weak but there was still some hope.

"He is alive, but his pulse is extremely weak, he needs medical attention as soon as possible, we can't wait for an ambulance."

Alexander nodded, giving out instructions to one of his men. "Go back to base and take him to the nearest hospital, send in more men and surround the perimeter, nobody gets in or out." He ordered.
