I quietly shut the door, hoping to enter the house undetected.

I winced when I heard Demetrius' voice behind me. "Where do you think you're coming from?" He asked in a strangely calm tone.

"I was out." I whispered, looking around and noticing he had sent all the bodyguards away, just my luck.

"Where?" He questioned staring at me intently, I couldn't help but squirm under his penetrating gaze.

"I had an errand to run." I vaguely answered.

"Errand? Sophia do you have any idea the hell I went through when I came back to find an empty room and an open window." He shouted, his eyes clouded with anger and worry.

"I'm sorry."

"Your sorry?" He laughed bitterly at my lack of response. I gasped when his hands slammed furiously onto the wall behind me, keeping me caged in his arms. "I had the whole of Greece searching for you, I drank myself to the point of insanity thinking someone had taken you. Can you even imagine the amount of guilt that weighed down on me knowing I was the one who left you alone?" I could see the sadness in his eyes as he remembered the pain he had went through because of me.

"I'm sorry Demetrius, I really am." I choked on my own sobs as I looked deep into his bright eyes. It seemed as if the pain he had felt had been reflected onto me, and it hurt, a lot.

He didn't respond to my apology, looking down he quietly whispered. "Don't ever do that to me again. Ever." I sighed knowing he was still very angry at me. I lovingly swept the fallen hair from his face, so he was looking directly at me. "Forgive me Demetrius, I am truly very sorry." I held his face in my hands and tenderly kissed his cheek. "I love you." He only nodded and interlocked his hands with mine, giving each of my knuckles a sweet kiss.

You still haven't told me where you went." He observed me with curiosity and I mentally cringe knowing what I was about to tell Demetrius would further upset him.

"I-I was at Cass-Cassandra's place." I stuttered feeling my nerves increase as he suddenly let go of my hand and began to mutter incoherently to himself in greek.

"I have told you several times to stay away from that woman, she is a bad influence and extremely violent." I scoffed at his statement, but quickly masked it as a cough when Demetrius stared in my direction.

"She punched you once." I shrugged.

"Are you forgetting that she not only punched me, but broke my jaw in the process. Who knew a woman could pack such a punch?" He trailed of, probably relieving the very embarrassing moment as Demetrius' ego was shattered in mere seconds, by one woman.

"Yes, I remember that very eventful day." I snickered causing Demetrius to glare at me. "And I assure you, you won't be seeing her for a very long time." I grimaced remembering what had transpired the last time I saw Cassandra.

"You're not fighting me on this?" Demetrius cast me a suspicious glance.

"Nope."

"Why?" He seemed to be very interested in the latest information on Cassandra and I's friendship.

"We're not friends anymore." I swallowed a huge lump in my throat to prevent myself from bursting into tears.

"Oh." Demetrius seemed shock at my revelation, completely the opposite of how I expected him to to be.

"Isn't this the part where you jump for joy?" It was my turn to give him a suspicious glare.

"Yes, but I know how close you guys were."
