A few months later, she started coming into school wearing a blue bandana. It was made of silk and had a really pretty pattern embroidered onto it.

Life went on as normal for me. However, she had to go to the doctors more often now and she had hardly any spare time. She also missed out on a lot of school work. You could tell her grades we slowly slipping.

She became tired more often, and she never seemed to want to do anything. All she did was read. Her weight was another problem. Her hands had become so boney and fragile. I was scared that they would snap off if she tried to write anything. She drew quite a lot as well. They weren’t exactly nice drawings, she said it was her way of expressing herself. But whenever I tried to look at them, she’d shout at me and tell me to mind my own business.

She just wasn’t the same person any more. She had changed for the worse.
