(Lightning's POV)

It was a quiet day in Radiator Springs. The sun was shining brightly and a cool breeze was ruffling the leaves. Fall season was always beautiful in Radiator Springs. I was driving down Main Street to the café, hoping to get some oil for my upset tank. I wasn't feeling well today. I don't know why, but I felt like something bad was going to happen.

I arrived at Flo's and parked at my usual pump. Flo warmly greeted me.

"Hey honey, what can I get'cha?" she asked, cheerfully.

"Do you have anything for an upset tank?" I asked.

"Aw, not feeling good today?"

"Yeah...I don't know what it is. I just feel really nervous...I don't know."

"You're not the only one. Anyways, I'll see what I got."

Flo drove off and I just sat there thinking to myself. Everybody was on edge today. I wonder why we're feeling like this.

I quickly drink all the oil Flo brought me and drive off. I arrived at the Cozy Cone to see Sally doing paperwork.

"Hey Sal," I said smiling.

She looked up and smiled back, "Hey Stickers. What's up?"

I shrugged and rolled around her desk and parked beside her. "Nothing really..." I paused then asked, "Sally, can I ask you something?"

"Of course Stickers."

"Do you feel tense, or nervous, today?"

She thought about this for a few minutes and nodded.

"Now that you mention it, I do feel a little weird today. I didn't really feel good this morning."

I nodded and looked down at her paperwork. I lightly laughed. She looked up at me, "What?"

I shrugged, " I was just thinking, you probably didn't feel good because you're always stressing over this paperwork."

She lightly nudged my tire while laughing a sarcastic laugh. "Haha! So funny!"

I smiled and drove around to the front of her desk. "I have to go."

She looked at me with her puppy dog eyes, "Aw Stickers. Don't leave."

I chuckled and gave her a peck on the lips, "Don't worry. I'll be back. How about a date night?"

She smiled, "I would love to. How about 8-o-clock?"

I nodded, "Sounds good. I'll see you then."

We both said our goodbyes and I started driving to my garage. After spending several years in a Cozy Cone, I started to feel cramped, so I had my own garage built. It was a 4 car garage (Author's Note: A 4 car garage could be a car mansion, right? XD) painted red with my name across the top. My lucky number 95 was displayed under my name with a white lightning bolt in the background.

I opened the garage door and drove in. I was feeling really run down, so I started making my way to my bed. Before I made it to my room, I heard someone crying. I suddenly tensed up, seeing as I was the only one living here. I started driving cautiously around, looking in every room, until I came to my bathroom. The crying was coming from the other side of the door.

I slowly took a deep breath and pushed the door open. Inside was a girl.

(Jesse's POV)

"What happened to me?!"

I was terrified. I was a...car. Yes a...car. I was in what appeared to be a bathroom. I was looking around and caught a glimpse of myself, which resulted in my screaming. I was a car alright. I appeared to be a Mustang, a purple one, with a white stripe going down the middle of my hood. Other than the change of my appearance and my light headedness, I appeared to be fine.

I slowly got to my feet...no tires and looked closer at myself in the mirror. I couldn't believe this. How could my dad do this to me? Where was he, and, where am I?

I started to cry. I didn't even know cars could cry. The tears streamed down my eyes...ugh WINDSHIELD, and spilled down my hood. How was I going to be a car? I didn't know how to take care of myself.

Suddenly I heard someone breathe. I tried to stop my crying, but the door swung open and standing there was a red car.

(Lightning's POV)

We stared at each other for what seemed like minutes. Something about her didn't seem right. Not only did she trespass into my garage, but she had this weird vibe to her.

"Um....can I help you?" I asked.

She kept looking at me with tear filled eyes. I was getting frustrated.

"What are you doing in my garage?"

She started to get onto her wheels, but she seemed to struggle. Was she hurt? She swallowed and slowly spoke.

"I...really...don't...know..." she said.

I kept looking at her, waiting for a better explanation. She kept looking at me too, giving me a confused look.

"Wait," she said,"Are you.....Lightning McQueen?"

I slowly nodded. She started backing away.

"Oh no! My dad sent me here. To the car world! He wants me to get you I knew it!"

I looked at her confused. She looked at me and came closer.

"I don't know what happened between you and my dad, but I don't want to hurt you. As long as you don't hurt me. I really need to get home. Can you help me?"

I kept looking at her confused, "Who's your dad, and why does he want me?"

She shrugged, "I don't know, he didn't really mention you. I just found out about you through his computer system. Oh, I'm Jesse Loster. My dad is Greg Loster."

She must have remembered something because she started backing away from me. I could see the fear in her eyes. "Oh no! You're going to hurt me! You're-you're dangerous! I read the documentation on you! Somebody help!!"

I tried processing everything she just told me. Documentation. Dangerous. Jesse Loster. Greg Loster....wait a minute.

I started backing away from her. "You mean...Captain Loster?"
