Riley's room is shown above ^^
James POV:
Mid way through the movie, I feel Riley move even closer to me, so her head is on my chest and she's snuggling close to me. I hold my arm around her and hold her, pretending she's mine. Pretending she loved me as much as I love her. But she doesn't.The titles roll at the end, and I look down to see that she is asleep on me.
"Riley?" I whisper, just to check she is asleep. No reply. Good.
I pull up her head and body and lie her down on the sofa, looking around sharply for a blanket or a duvet of some sort, until I spot a cosy, fluffy purple one on the edge of the armchair.
I tiptoe over, picking it up and then when I come back over to the sofa, I just look at her.
She looks so damn beautiful.
I wave out the blanket, lying it across her body and crouching beside her, tucking her in.
I wonder what she's dreaming about? Maybe she's dreaming about me, her knight in shining armour coming to rescue her from the tall winding tower, because the evil queen Leah locked her feelings up? Or maybe she's dreaming about Leah being tortured in a dungeon full of rats and spiders and snakes.
The thoughts I have begin to blind my brain. She's probably not sparing a thought about me.
I kiss her forehead softly and stroke her hair, spending a few moments just admiring her, before I make my way to sit in the armchair, and switch the TV over to watch the football.
Riley POV:
My eyes flutter open, as I yawn and sit up, a blanket being an obstacle as I find it tucked into the side of the sofa. I turn my head and see James looking at me, sat in my dad's armchair, and smiling."You fell asleep," He says smugly, almost proud of himself for simply putting a blanket on me, "so I gave you a blanket and tucked you in."
"Well I can see that!" I laugh, removing the blanket and stretching, "what's the time?" I yawn, my arms fully extended to each side of me and I stretch out my arms.
James takes his wrist from his pocket and reads his watch.
"Six Fifty-Eight-"
"Are you kidding me? Oh my God I've been asleep for ages! James," I look at him, "you need to go home! I know what your mum is like, she'll have you hanging from the string at a butchers if you don't get back home!"
"Hey Riley, chill, I already text her when you were asleep. Don't even worry about it," James raises his eyebrows and puts his finger out as he remembers something, "oh yeah, my mom said am I staying at yours tonight or...?"
The cheek of it. He thinks he can sway in here and just sleep with me now? But again, I know what his mum is like, and you have to do what Debra says. I don't want to get caught in that web.
"Yeah okay whatever," I agree, rolling my eyes, causing a smile to spread broadly across his face, "my parents are out of town anyway and my sister is with Liam, so sleep wherever you want."
I finally stand up and yawn again. I start walking out of the door before, of course, I'm interrupted.
"Where you going?" James stands up abruptly.
"To get changed into my pyjamas. And you're not coming you perv." I joke, walking out of the door and up the stairs.
James POV:
Of course I've already decided where I'm sleeping. With Riley.
