"It's hard work being a boss." Najah complained "Tell me about it." Boogie agreed

"September is basically a month away and I feel like i'm still not ready to open."

"What's missing?"

"Nothing but I just don't feel ready. I almost have my people, I need a few more for my booths. That's the only thing I can say is missing."

"You'll figure it out baby don't stress."

"You right"

"If I get you pregnant in October we'll have our son by July."

"Who said I wanted to be pregnant and healing the whole summer?"

"You don't even go nowhere so do it really matter?"

"It's kinda hot for allat in the summer. If my push gift is good enough then maybe I'll consider."

"Don't nun top the first one so iono what to even get you dude. What do you even get a person who has everything?"

"I don't know but you can figure that out if you want a son."

"Imma always figure shit out for you."

"As you should." Najah smirked before kissing his lips. Her phone rang so she looked down at it but it was Nasia.

She didn't feel like talking at the moment so she silenced her phone. Once she realized Nasia was calling her repeatedly she picked up.

"Najah!" She raised her voice. "What's wrong?"

"I was taking a nap and my phone was blowing up. It was Symir's mom so I picked up. She told me he got shot again but he didn't make it this time." Nasia explained before she began sobbing.

"Wait- what you mean he didn't make it this time?!" Najah got up causing Boogie to look at her. "Who is that?" He asked out of confusion.

"He's dead! My baby is dead!" She continued to sob. "He had Sy'rai with him too but she's in surgery right now."

"What?!" Najah gasped "I don't know what to do Najah. I'm on the way to the hospital but my mind is all over the place."

"Okay, please just drive safe. Me and Boogie are about to come up there with you."

"Okay... please hurry man I can't be alone."
"Alright"

The call ended and Najah zoned out immediately. She couldn't fond the words to explain to Boogie what was happening.

"What bae?" He asked as he sat up. "Mir got shot again and Sy'rai was with him."

"They good though, right?" Boogie questioned "Right?" He questioned again when she didn't answer him.

"No, he's gone but the baby is in surgery right now." She finally responded with tears in her eyes. "Nasia said he's dead. We have to go to the hospital."

Boogie's head dropped then he covered his face. Najah sat in front of him on the floor and rested her head in his lap.

For about five minutes nobody moved, they just cried together trying to gather their thoughts. Boogie pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly.

"I got you ma, I got you." He spoke lowly causing her to cry harder.

Mir and Boogie were always close but Boogie knew how long he and Najah had been best friends.

"My best friend!" She screamed in agony. "He's really gone Asaad. I spent so much time being mad at him."

"It ain't yo fault. You ain't know this was gone happen."
