Ever since Luke could remember, he had been taught not to judge a book by it's cover. His mother always warned him about trusting people too soon, about falling too fast and about letting people in. His father was strict with him as well, making sure he stuck to the rules of what he was taught. His older brothers, Jack and Ben, stuck to these simple rules and becoming the favourites out of the three.

It wasn't until Luke had started high school, where it went downhill. He still stuck to the rules however - just in his own twisted way. Luke got mixed up with the wrong crowd, making his once 'good boy' reputation instantly go down the drain. He would be the one making people trust him, fall for him, let him in and when they least expected it, he would stab them in the back. Over, and over again.

He was a cruel, devilish heartthrob. Girls would fall too their knees for him, not caring about the warnings they were told. Boys would want to be him or be with him, either one. They all knew what he was like, but still couldn't get enough of the blue eyed beauty. They all knew no one could change the ways of Luke Hemmings, and the fact he jumped from school to school, town to town and girl to boy without a care made it even more believable.

The day he met sweet and innocent Michael. The drop dead, gorgeous green-eyed crossdresser who truly hypnotised anyone that crossed his path. Not many cared about who Michael was apart from his best friends, Ivy and Zanthie (and the odd hater). To truly understand what Michael was about and who he really was, you would either have to be very stupid or very witty and fortunately more than half of the student body were the former rather than the latter. This helped Michael stay under the radar and away from the scrutinising looks of the judgemental pupils.

Luke on the other hand was a pure mixture of both things; too witty to be classed among the people in his year, but too stupid to compete at Michaels level. Luke took the highest interest in Michael from the moment he set eyes on him, entranced by his timid yet alluring personality.

That was the fatal day Luke decided to judge a book by it's cover. Which would turn out to be the worst mistake Luke would ever make.. 

He would finally get a taste of his own medicine, from the boy who's face and body was made by Adonis, but his heart was crafted by Hades.
