"Ivy, this is Calum."

Ivy smiled tightly at Calum, holding her hand out ready to shake his. Calum chuckled taking her hand and shaking it gently, smiling at her.

"Nice to finally meet you. Luna and Mikey never stop talking about you when they come here." Calum was stood next to Michaels side again, kissing the small a boys head.

"Actually Lu screams about the adventures we go on." Michael spoke softly, fluttering his eyes shut when he felt Calum's lips against his head. Ivy was wide eyed and felt as if she had a lump in her throat, making it hard for her to breathe.

"Where is the little peach anyway? I heard you girls didn't have the best experience on the road today." Calum's eyes connected with Ivy's, his caramel eyes had a hint of concern and a lot of worry behind them. "I got your text by the way babe. I've been looking for that waste of space for a couple of months now."

"I put Lu to bed just before you came home so she's probably still trying to get to sleep." Michael walked into the kitchen as Ivy and Calum followed, standing on either sides of the island.

"Can you go check on her for me?" Michael asked as he searched through the cupboards, "And I know you have been. That's why I texted you where he was love." Michael's tone of voice was playful and soft he stood up from looking at the bottom cupboard, a taunting gleam in his eyes. Calum rolled his eyes but smiled at the two before running up the stairs at quietly as he could.

After Ivy made sure he was out of reach she threw an apple from the fruit bowl straight at Michaels head.

"Ow!" Michael squealed, "What was that for you brute?" Michael rubbed his head as he pouted at his best friend, only seeing how the colour had drained from her face and her eyes were wide in fear.

"Do you mind telling me what the fuck you're doing with Calum Hood?!" Ivy whisper-shouted, her hands gripping the side of the island.

"What do you mean?" Michael asked in confusion, his head tilting to the side.

"Is Calum the 'lover boy' you've been going on about Michael?.." Ivy already knew the answer to the question but she didn't want to believe it.

Why would Michael, a person who kept himself to himself for years, was afraid of the dark and read books until he learnt of the real world be involved with someone like Calum. A person who grew up on the streets of Boston when he was young, owning a chain of illegal underground boxing rings that also hosted dealings and illegal trading.

It took a while for Michael to look Ivy in the eyes after she said that and when he did, she got her answer; "Yeah, it's him."

Michael was the light, Calum was the dark. Michael was the sunflowers leaning over you to protect you from the harsh sunlight, Calum was the thorn bushes that trapped you and hurt you for every move you made to escape. Michael was the moon that guided those back home but Calum was the hurricanes that left devastation and terror everywhere he went.
