Chapter Three

~***Nepeta***~

After the long night, which you barely slept to at all. You get up and do your daily things.

You walk over to your shipping wall. You look at all of them.

A pang hits you when you see you and Equius together. You decide to x it out, and you circle Equius and Aradia. Once you do that you sorta just stare at it.

After you shake yourself out of it you go on a walk. It's a nice day out and it lifts your spirits a little bit. Then you sigh when you see Sollux waving over at you.

"hey Nepeta." he says as he jogs up to you

"um.. hi." you say avoiding him as much as possible

"What are you doiing?" Sollux asks. You know what he wants. But you aren't going to let him have the pleasure of knowing.

"Oh, mew know. Just walking, good day fur that." You try to lose him a few time, and fail.

"Why were you 2talking Equiiu2 ye2terday?" He says as clear as day.

You finally lash out.

"It's none of meows business!!" At that you leave. You can tell that Sollux is standing behind in awe when you leave. And you don't care.

Once you're over the whole Sollux conversation you have a pleasant walk. You also got to talk to Terezi and Kanaya. They made you even more at ease.

Kanaya figured out about the whole Equius fiasco and gave you some advice. She told you that it would be good if I had someone else on my mind. Which, you don't really know how to do. She tells you it'll take time, but it'll happen.

You hope she's telling the truth.

Just when your jolly and happy you see Equius. Your heart sinks and you almost want to run away. But it's too late, he saw you. And now he's walking towards you. Looking you right in the eye as he comes.

You force a small smile.

"Hello Equius. How is meows day?" You avoid is eyes but continue to smile.

"Nepeta.... I've been trying to contact you all day. What have you been doing?!" He says, worried. Which him being worried seems to make you as mad as ever.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was out walking!" You say through clenched teeth.

"Oh... Okay" he nods as if he doesn't notice the anger, which gladly, he doesn't.

"Well.. I'm going to continue my walk...." You maneuver your way away from him.

It's been a few days since the big incident and honestly, you are so depressed.

Karkat has been real concerned, you can tell. But you don't know if you should tell him the truth or not...

You decided you should, I mean, if Kanaya figured out might as well tell someone else!

You make your way towards Karkat's, and you get a little nervous.

When your at his hive you stand there for a second and clear your throat.

After you prepare yourself you raise you hand and knock lightly on the front door. There's a few bangs and steps and eventually the door opens.

"Hi Karkitty!" You say happily

"What is it nepeta?" he looks a little confused.

You walk yourself in his house even though he didn't say you could, you knew it was okay. Once you were inside you turn towards him.

"We need to talk." You muster out getting more nervous as time went on.
