~***Karkat***~

I wake up my muscles cramped from sleeping on the floor. I stretch them out real quick and walk to the door.

I was about to open it when I heard a light knock. Startled I stumbled backwards and fell on the ground.

I growled and got back up to answer the door.

"Hi Karkitty!" Nepeta exclaims making that forced smile that I hated so much.

"WHAT IS IT NEPETA?" I asked Nepeta tilting my head lightly to the side in confusion wondering why on alternia she was here.

She walked in my hive without me saying anything.

"HEY!" I yell more confused although I was fine with it.

She stood there for a minute without saying anything. The moment was silent and was only broken when she took a deep breath.

"Karkat." She says quietly without turning around.

I was shocked for a moment. She had called me Karkat and not 'Karkitty'....something was wrong.

''We need to talk." She turned around to face me and I saw that she was upset. I didn't say anything, I just stood there to let her talk.

"Mew were wondurring why I was upset earlier." She paused. I was silent. "Well earlier...I saw Equius and Aradia....and...and". She started shaking.

I hesitantly walked over to her not sure what to do.

"DONT WORRY I UNDERSTAND." I said softly, slowly putting my hand on her shoulder. She looked at me and slightly smiled.

Swiftly she moved away to my door her back to me.

"Thank you..." She said. "Karkitty". And with that she left.
