Chapter 12

I waved as I walked away. I could feel the blush on my face again, but I didn't care. And I knew nepeta didnt either.

I started to make my way to the lab. On the way there I ran into Terezi. We walked past each other without a word. Then I heard her nose.

"Hmmm Karkat..." She said and started sniffing me.

I froze were I was.

"You smell...like...Cherry red!"

She tackled me to the ground and licked my cheeks which only made me blush more.

"Karkat! I know your blo-hmph!"

I covered her mouth and pushed her off me. I shoved my hands in my pocket and bit my lip.

"No you don't". I said turning around and walking away.

She giggled and stated waking with me.

"Nepeta asked me about it earlier I think she knows to."

I didn't say anything, I just kept walking.

"I won't tell anyone don't worry karkitty". She said giggling again.

I stopped in my tracks. I couldn't put a finger on it but there was something off about the way she said my name...it was different.

/it's because only nepeta can call you karkitty/

I stumbled as the thought entered my head. I felt Terezi's hand on my shoulder steadying me.

Only nepeta. Only nepeta can call me karkitty.

I turned to look at terezi. I nodded my head goodbye and started to run to nepeta's hive.

When I got there I furiously knocked in the door. When nobody answered I went to the lab. Not there. I went to the cliff, still not there. Not at the park. Not anywhere.

The sky was dark by the time I stopped looking. I trudged to my hive and flopped down on floor. My heart pumped in my chest with worry. Why was I so worried? She can take care of herself. And so can Equius.

She's fine. I told myself curling up on the floor getting sleepy.

I was just about to sleep when I felt a blanket on me.

I looked up and saw my lusus over standing over me.

"AAUUGH!!" I yelled getting up.

"Crab dad! Crab crab dad!" He told swinging his crabby arms.

"GOOO FUCKASS!" I yelled pushing him out of my room.

I sighed and unable to sleep I started pestering sollux.

We talked for a bit and you started getting mad.

When we were done I started the virus on.

A countdown appeared on my computer

Fuck.

I started to get up and try to get away from the computer. But I got caught on the chair.

The next thing I knew I was being lifted and there was an explosion behind me.

When the smoke cleared I wiped my eyes an saw crab dad on the floor dead.

I frowned and tears slowly filled my eyes. I really liked him god dammit.

I trudged back to the floor on my bed and larded down. I slept a restless night.
