*Alyssa's POV*
Only 3 months left until we get to meet our little princess. I feel like I just keep getting fatter and fatter, but that means our beautiful baby girl is growing big and strong. Jack and Johnson have been really busy in the studio lately, which is great, but I miss my boyfriend. It's hard when he's gone almost all day. Johnson said that they were able to finish their new album which is also great. I'm so proud of how far they've come. Now that they've finished recording, I'll be able to spend some more time with Jack before they have to start touring and promoting the album. So, Sam, Nate, and Johnson are all coming over today to help set up for the baby shower. Sam is the only other person who knows it's a girl so it should be a pretty exciting day. Jess and the rest of the guests are coming later on.
"Babe Sam called me, him and Nate are on the way" Jack says as he walks into the bedroom.
He curls up next to me in the bed.
"Does that mean I actually have to get out of bed?" I ask jokingly.
"No, actually you can stay in bed while we do all of the heavy lifting and I'll just come get you when we need you to start decorating."
"Really? That's the best news I've heard all day! Are you sure you guys will be okay?"
"Yeah we'll be fine. I promise" he says as he kisses my forehead.
"Okay" I say with a smile.
"Now go back to sleep, I'll see you in a little while. Love you."
"Okay. Love you too."
Jack pulls me into a hug and kisses me on the lips before he heads back downstairs.
I fall back asleep and wake up when Jack comes in a few hours later.
He wakes me up by placing a bunch of kisses all over my face.
"Hey boyfriend."
"Hey girlfriend."
"How'd the heavy lifting go?"
"Good. Hey are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah I think so, why?"
"You look really pale."
"I don't know. Now that you mention it I do feel kind of out of it, but I just thought it was because I was just waking up."
"Maybe we should go to the doctor."
"But what about the baby shower Jack? What am I supposed to do? All of these people are coming."
"They'll understand babe. Your health and the baby's health is more important than the shower."
"Jack...."
"Alyssa....you're going to the doctor. If we go now maybe we'll make it back in time for the shower."
"Fine."
I get up and throw on some leggings and one of Jack's hoodies. He's been buying bigger hoodies so that I could fit into them and he doesn't think I've noticed. It's so sweet.
He holds my hand as we walk down the stairs.
"Tell me if you feel dizzy or anything, okay babe?"
"Okay."
We get to the bottom of the stairs and Nate and Sam come running over.
"What's going on?" Nate asks.
