(Hey guys, I have returned from my hiatus that lasted a lot longer than I intended, I doubt I'll have consistent posting days because work has a un organised schedule, but I'm doing a bit better now, and with Chapter 5 out, I've gotten a heavy inspiration to try and finish this up to Chapter 5.)

(I do have a couple of questions, would you all prefer me to change the love interest in the story to Gracie Green? I am willing to rewrite this for Gracie as the reason Feather went looking in the factory, especially since this was made an au because I didn't know most of the bigger bodies toys were children back when I began writing this story, let me know if you would rather Gracie become the love interest.)

(Would you all also like to make a list of which toy Feather is able to save and how she could save them? she will still save Mommy Long Legs because I already wrote it, but what about Dogday, Catnap, Yarnaby, Doey, Huggy, Kissy, etc.)

Recap:

"We'll set things right, terrible things have happened, but I know that whatever you need to do... you're capable.... we will.... what!?" Poppy cut off with static and beeping sounding off, causing me to look up confused as Marie looked wide eyes, unsure and fearful.

"Poppy? Poppy are you alright?" I called out, before I could say another word, the train begun to speed up more, becoming shaky and unstable, an alarm sounding off somewhere, I struggled to try and stop the train or even slow it down, nothing was working.

Marie moved to help me, we tried to used our combined weight to pull the lever down, but it was stuck, a red light on the train flashed followed by a loud beeping, a flashing light warning me to stop the train.

After a moment, we got the lever to pull, causing the breaks to step in, sparks flying outside, but it wasn't working, the train was still moving, then everything jolted, like we it something, the train toppled over, taking Marie and I with it, blood spattering from somewhere in front of us as we fell with yelps of shock and fear.

My head slammed against the ground, the last thing I could see was a sign saying Playcare, I heard Marie's voice call out.

"Feather!"

With my head pounding and my ears ringing, the first thing I'm able to actually hear as I started to come to were heavy steps on a wet floor, my body gliding across as something dragged me down the path, my eyes beginning to open and slowly focus on the grey surroundings of the factory, blood pooled around a blue toy looking thing nearby.

I could see a purple paw next to me with each step, walking towards a huge metal hatch, a chute leading further down into somewhere, unknown to my captor, Marie was still wrapped around my waist, hidden by my baggy shirt, keeping fearfully silent.

I blearily watched the paw reach out to grab the hatch, pulling it open with an ear-splitting creek that hurt my head, and then I was shifted, pushed down the chute before I could even realise what was happening, I didn't have the strength to try and get away or make a sound, but I did see an unsettling purple cat like face with a horrifyingly wide smile as I descended down into the depths.

At the bottom, I let out a small yelp of pain, somehow, Marie ended up unharmed thankfully, at least not as hurt as she already was, I stayed on the ground for a moment, letting myself rest for a moment, everything hurt, the last thing I remember is the train, Poppy going silent, and then the crash.

With a whine, I pushed myself up, holding my head, there was a warm, wet feeling, pulling my hand back, I saw what I already knew was there, blood, I must've hit my head hard during the crash, I carefully leaned against the wall, tearing another shred of my vest jacket off to wrap around my head, it was better than nothing.
