I brushed my fingertips over my right knuckle. I still remember the first time we won the winter cup, I still feel a bit excitement from when I fist bumped with kagami. But I guess it was all a lie.

I suddenly jolted back into realitly when the bell rang and it was lunch. I didn't have lunch and instead went to the library.
No one really comes here so I won't be a burden.

Fianally the last bell rang and I went home. Mother was out and father was.... Well...drinking again.
As i take my first step into the house a wave off alcohol infect the air around me. I cough for about five times before making my way into the living room.
"Little rat! Are you home!?" My step father shout, slurring his words a bit as he shouts.
" Yes. Welcom home step father" I say backing into a corner as he stands up and faces me.
"Your mother is gone to the hospital again.They are knocking her up with more pills! It's expensive so no more school lunch money for you!" He said grasping my shoulder and pushing he hard against the wall.
He looks me in the eye then shoves me down on the cold, hard ground. He kicks my side and then leaves me to sit on the sofa.
I laid there for a bit, I miss father. The real one. Even if he did cheat hes better than doctor Dunkard here.
I get up and try to sneak up the stairs to my room when the door bell rings. Step father must be asleep because I hear heavy breathing.
I open the door and there in front of me stands, the one and only.....
"!?" I open my mouth to say there name , still totally astonished.
