stranger at table 3.

*ding * *ding*
"Kuroko!" Lexx shouted to me from the front desk. I'm just about to start my first shift . To say the least, I'm nervous, I have never had to work as a waitor before.

As I step out from the back room, after changing, Lexx shouts again for me

"Black coffee, table 3. " and looks back to the customer in front of her and then takes another order.

I place the small white cup on a tray, before walking up to the table. I can see a man sitting there looking almost asleep.

I wonder how on earth he can sleep whens he is wearing a tight brown leather jacket, that just fits around his beer belly.
Ewwww! I though as I step closer, only now, smelling the horrible odour coming from him.

Alchol and smoke. I shivered as I remember the smell too well. Step-Father was a doctor, but the day he got demoted to a pharmacist, he took up drinking. People at his work place noticed, but where to scared to say anything. The pay wasn't as good as before and he never saw that many people.

I soon shook my head pushing the bad memories behind. I have moved on, I'm not that same kuroko any more!

He glances up and me. His eye move up and down my body, which make me even more nervous.

"Here you go." I barely say, Putting the cup down.

He stares once more but luckily this time more at my face. He then changes his blank expression into a smirk.

"Hey kid. What about you quit your stupid job here and come work in my bar?" He has in a low voice only glancing behind me to check Lexx wasn't near.

I'm stunned.
I don't know what to reply with. I shouldn't but it might have better pay there than here. Although he is rather dodgy looking.

He gulps down his coffee as I get out the check from my apron. I place it down before walking away. After taking another order I return to get the money. I'm kind of shocked because of what I see.

He left the right amoung of money and a few yen for a tip and a piece of paper. wait.
No, it is a buissness card. It has a picture of some fancy looking drink and a phone number.

I turn it around to see the adress and some scribbled out words....'the pays better over here. Come visit for work.'

I think for a second before shoving it down to the bottom of my pocket. I do need the money and in here it not great.

What should I do!?....

Hey hey! I'm back. Soz for the wait I spent forever typing up the new chapter then checking it over.....then wattpad froze and it deleted. /(= 3= )\ ..... But yeah. Back to this chapter!

Decision time!

1. Should Kuro leave his job to work at the bar?

2. Or stay with Lexx in the safe cafe.
