Just like my mom said, she was there approximately six hours later. I had an amazing day at school. I hung out with Hayes and his friends, it was so much fun. I jumped in the car but before I could close the door I heard my name being called. I popped my head out of the car to see Hayes running with a paper in his hands.
"Close the door! We're going to be late to my meeting!" My mom yelled.
"Wait!" I yelled.
"Nope, no waiting." She said as she literally climbed over me and shut the door.
"Ugh." I sighed.
As we drove I looked in the rear view mirror and saw Hayes, still running. I laughed to myself and a couple minutes later we arrived at my house. By this time it was strangely really cold and raining. Seconds later it was pouring, I could barley see in front me. I was super cold and very wet but not soaked.
"Sadie!" I heard someone call me.
"Hayes?" I questioned.
I saw a figure approach my open garage.
"Y-you for-forgot your p-paper at s-school." He said shaking.
"Oh my god, Hayes. Your freezing, come inside." I grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside my house.
"Hey there Sa- oh my, whose this!?" My dad exclaimed.
"Dad this is Hayes, he followed me and mom home because I forgot my paper. Can you please grab him a blanket." I told him.
"Uh y-yeah." He popped up and ran up the stairs.
"Follow me." I said as I put my arm around his shoulders and guided him carefully up the stairs.
"Y-you don't have to do this." Hayes whispered.
"Yes I do." I said as I guided him into my room. I sat him down in my bed and sat next to him.
"Wow." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"You know me." He laughed as he pointed at the Magcon poster on the wall.
"Dang it." I sighed.
"It's fine, my girlfriend was a fan." He laughed.
He has a girlfriend! Who is this girl! She's so lucky.
I thought as I stated at Hayes's shaking body.
"I can feel you staring at me." He chuckled.
"Uh, s-sorry. I'm just kind of shocked that Hayes Grier is sitting on my bed." I giggled and turned red as he laughed.
"Uh, sorry to intrude but I have those blankets." My dad said.
"Thank you sir." Hayes smiled and grabbed the blankets. My dad then smiled back, left the room and closed the door behind him. When I turned back around Hayes was shirtless and rapped in a blanket.
"Oh, uh, yeah. My uh, my shirt was uh, really wet so, uh, y-yeah. Uh you uh, mind?" He asked turning pink.
"No, don't worry I'm used to it. I have a brother." I laughed.
Hayes's eyes widened, "Oh, how old is he?"
I laughed, "He's eighteen and in the army. He's nice to, so you don't have to worry."
"Oh, was it that noticeable?" He said in a girls voice.
"Ugh, shut up." We both started laughing.
"Your laughs really cute." His eyes widened and he clasped his mouth with his hand.
"Sorry, it slipped out." He chuckled.
"No it's fine, I've always thought it was ugly." I laughed.
"No it's really cute because your nose crinkles up and then your dimples pop out." He pokes my nose.
"So whose your girlfriend?" I asked.
Wow Sadie, that was a really low key question.
"Oh, her names Harvey. You guys would be great friends." He smiled.
"I'll have to meet her then." I smiled.
(HAYES POV)
Wow Hayes, what was that! I totally friend zoned her. Ugh. She looks hurt, geez Hayes. What's wrong with me! I feel really bad. How can I act that shitty! Now there's no chance that I will ever be able to even, at least tell her that I-
(SADIES POV)
"Hayes?" He looked really deep in thought.
"Oh, yeah sorry. Day dreaming took over me." He laughed.
"Don't worry it happens to me too." I chuckled.
"Hey kids, do you guys want dinner?" My mom asked.
"Uh yeah, I'm hungry." I said.
"Oh, I can't let you, you've done a lot for me already." Hayes said.
"I insist." My mom said.
"Okay." Hayes agreed.
Minuets later we were called downstairs to eat. Once we ate Hayes put his shirt back on and we ran outside. Since it wasn't raining anymore I grabbed two penny boards and we skated to his house which was five houses down from mine.
(Mentally screaming)
Once we got to his door he stopped and grabbed my phone out of my back pocket. He surprisingly knew my passcode, he opened up the contacts app and put a name and number into it.
"Text me." He smiled and walked into his house.
I looked down at my phone and saw a name:
Hayes💙💙💙
I laughed and went back home.

As I laid in bed I heard a ding. I looked at my phone and it was from Hayes.
H: Night cutie! Thanks for everything!😊💙
S: Night! Any time!😆❤️
With that I laid back down and fell into a deep sleep.
