"Are you Sadie Richards?" A woman asked

"Yes." I said.

"Okay, I'll be your driver tonight go ahead and put your things in the trunk and you can sit in the front seat." She smiled politely.

"Okay thank you." I smiled back. A pang of guilt started to set in as I put my luggage into the trunk. Sadie, don't change your mind, just get in the car. I slammed the trunk and walked to the passengers seat. I got in and buckled up.

"You ready?" The woman,Morgan, asked.

"Yes." I said with a lump in the back of my throat.

"Okay." She said as she started driving in the direction of the airport.

~~

"Thanks Morgan!" I yelled from the busy sidewalk.

"Call me anytime you need a lift!" She waved.

I walked inside and went to the Southwest Airlines check in.

"Hello, just put your luggage right up here." A nice woman said.

She gave me the things I needed and I was off to Security with my backpack.

"Hello mam, just slip off you shoes and put them in here." A man said.

"Thank you and I'm supposed to ask for a woman named Melanie." I said curiously.

"Oh, I'll be right back." He winked and walked away.

That lump in my throat hasn't gone away yet and all I've thought about is Hayes.

"Hi, I'm Melanie and I'll be helping you through the airport." A younger woman smiled at me.

"Oh thank you." I breathed a sigh of relief.

After security we waited in the Starbucks and talked. Then my flight was called.

"Are you okay from here?" She asked.

"Yes I'll be fine, thank you for everything." I smiled.

"Anytime." She left.

I walked up to the desk and gave the girl my ticket. She stamped it and I walked through the little tunnel thing.

"D6, D6, D6." I whispered to myself as I tried to find my seat.

I finally found it and sat by the window. I looked at my phone.

2:30 am.

I won't get there until around seven so I'll just sleep.

~~

"Psst, little girl the plan has landed." A person said.

I woke up to an old woman.

"Thank you for waking me." I laughed.

I grabbed my backpack and climbed out of the plane and into the tunnel thing and into the hussel and bussle of the airport.

"Excuse me, where's the baggage claim located for flight 423?" I asked a man.

"It's just this way." He signaled me to follow him.

I followed him for two minuets and then I saw the big metal turning thing.

"I'll be fine from here thank you!" I said nicely.

"Your welcome." He smiled.

I waited for fifteen minutes and then I saw my generic black bags. I grabbed them and went outside. The smell of the salty air triggered memories of my childhood.

"Sadie!" I heard my name across the parking lot.

"Harvey!" I screamed as I saw her poking her head out of her car.

I ran over to her and hugged her.

"I missed you so much!" She squeezed me.

"Me too!" I laughed.

"Ok let's go!" She grabbed one of my bags and threw it into the back and I grabbed the other one.

"I'm so excited!" She exclaimed.

"Same!" I laughed.

"Hi Mrs. Stevens." I said as I opened the door.

"Hi babe, how was your trip?" She smiled.

"Great." I smiled. Before I sat down my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my pocket.

DANIEL:

Sadie....where are you? Please reply we're freaking out.

TO DANIEL:

Its a long story, I'm sorry. I'm slowly regretting this.

DANIEL:

I'm calling you.

"Mrs. Stevens can we not go yet, I need to talk to someone." I asked.

"Yeah take your time hun." She smiled.

"S-Sadie?" Daniels' voice cracked.

"Daniel." A tear trickled down my cheek.

"W-where are you, what's wrong." He was scared.

"I-I can't tell you, but I-I'm safe." I admitted.

"Please come b-back Sadie." He started crying more.

"It's only for a little bit. I'll be back in no time." I said trying to lighten the mood.

"No, I'm the one that made you leave. I was the one who made you cry. It's my fault that I kissed you. H-Hayes and I talked it out and we're o-okay now. So then w-we went to sleep. T-then I woke up and I-I was going to c-come ch-check on y-you. B-but you weren't there. I-I haven't been m-more scared in my l-life Sadie! H-Hayes hasn't come out of his r-room all n-night. He's b-been crying f-for the past seven hours. P-please Sadie, c-come back. I-I'm sorry." We were silent, only the soft cries of me and him were heard.

"I-I'm s-sorry Daniel. I-I c-can't." I hung up the phone, composed myself and climbed in the car.

"You okay? Who was that?" Harvey asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, it was just my mom checking up on me." I forced a smile.

"Okay girls, you ready to go?" Mrs. Stevens asked.

"Yep!" Said Harvey.

"Okay."

And with that we left the airport parking lot and were off on yet another unknown adventure.
