• Sadie POV •
"So, if you don't mind me asking, why did your parents kick you out?" I asked.
"Well they said that we were making them look bad in front of important people then we did something really really stupid and then they just kicked us out onto the street with nothing but the clothes we were wearing and like four bucks. Now, if you don't mind me asking, why are you out on the streets?" Ethan said.
"I'm not really ready to talk about the whole thing yet." I sighed.
"Oh, okay." He nodded.
"Not to be a downer or anything but I'm kinda feeling like a third wheel over here." Grayson said causing us to laugh.
"We're sorry." I laughed letting him in the small space between me and Ethan.
"Food." Grayson pointed at a Safeway.
"Dude we only have like four dollars." Ethan said.
"But I might've brought my credit card." I said pulling out a chrome card.
"YAY!" Ethan said sprinting towards Safeway causing me and Grayson to laugh.
"He's such a goof." Grayson said.
"Did you just say goof?" I laughed.
"Maybe." He turned red. And I started laughing very hard. When we reached the Safeway we saw Ethan running around with a little shopping cart.
"Oh my god." Grayson said looking at how stupid Ethan looked. But I started laughing.
• Hayes POV •
"She couldn't have gone that far." Nash sighed.
"Uh let's try that Safeway." Matt pointed.
"Okay." I said.
• Sadies POV •
We walked around for at least an hour just grabbing donuts and water bottles. And then just as we were going to check out I saw four boys that looked familiar.
"Shit." I cursed under my breathe.
"What." Grayson asked.
"It's them." I said.
"Who?" He asked.
"Just hide." I snapped grabbing his hand and running. We hid in that section of the store where they sell flowers and we hid behind the salespersons desk thing.
"Who are they?" Grayson asked.
"The guys I live with." I said.
"What are they abusive or something?" He asked.
"No I just did something very bad." I said.
"Oh." He whispered. Luckily there was a security camera app on the computer. I slowly stood up and clicked on it.
"Oh! I see them." Grayson whispered. They were walking down aisle four which, to our luck, Ethan was standing right in that same aisle.
"Oh God." Grayson said. Then to make our worries worse they walked right up to Ethan and started talking to him.
• Ethan's POV •
"Excuse me?" I heard behind me.
"Yeah." I said turning around to a brown haired blue eyed guy who I've never met before.
"Have you seen a girl in here? She has brown wavy hair, blue gray eyes and she's wearing a nirvana shirt." He asked.
"Well what's her name?" I asked.
"Sadie." He said. Oh shit.
"Uh no, sorry I haven't." I said.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yeah, I haven't heard or seen a Sadie anywhere in this store." I said.
"Uh, okay. Call us if you do." He said giving me a card with four numbers on it.
"I'll be sure to." I smiled as they walked away.
• Sadies POV •
When I saw them walk away I was so relieved. Then we saw them walk out of the store.
"Oh. My. Lawd." Grayson said.
"Ditto." I laughed.
"Ditto? What's ditto?" He laughed.
"It's when you feel the same about something." I said.
"Oh." He laughed even harder. Then the computer made a noise. There was a notification on the computer. I opened it and I was shocked. In big letters it said:
AMBER ALERT:
NAME: SADIE RICHARDS
AGE: 14
EYE COLOR: BLUE/ GRAY
HAIR COLOR: BROWN
ATTIRE: NIRVANA SWEATSHIRT, BLACK LEGGINGS, BLACK RUNNING SHOES.
*IF FOUND PLEASE REPORT TO THE POLICE*
I quickly deleted it, but then the whole store was filled with the noises of phone and computer blings.
"We're screwed." Grayson said.
"You're damn right." I sighed.
