Little Things

Part 4

Dan came out from the curtains, playing the chords of Little Things, starting to sing to Phil.
"Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me, but bear this in mind it was meant to be..." Dan sang Zayn's lines to Phil while holding his hand and kissing the back of it, making Phil blush madly and have tears brim his eyes since his singing is so beautiful. His free hand was covering his mouth.
"Oh my gooshh! Phan and One Direction?!" Tyler whispered to Felicia and Meghan, two of the youtubers on Phil's panel. The two ladies were squealing quietly, nodding in agreement with him, in which Tyler responded "same" while starting to cry.
"And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks, and it all makes sense to me." Dan said, pinching Phil's cheek. Tyler's face was in an "o" shape and he was using his hands to fan his face. The fans were also freaking out, but was quiet since Dan was singing, and he was wonderful at singing.
He sang the rest of the lines, until he got to Niall's lines, which he would propose to Phil.
Zoe, Louise, Niomi, Tanya, Hazel, and their boyfriends were all fangirling and "awing" behind the curtains, as well as singing along with the song.
"Oh my gosh, chummy, this is so sweet!" Zoe gushed, Louise nodding in agreement, tears dripping down her face.
"Tan, I feel like I'm gonna cry!" Niomi said, tears brimming her eyes as Dan sang the lines.
"Me too, Niomi! Tanya said, her eyeliner obviously ruined, as she grabbed a handkerchief from her purse.
"We've just done our makeup, dammit!" Hazel complained playfully to all of her beauty guru friends, which they've simultaneously nodded, wiping their eyes, smudging their makeup.
Alfie, Marcus, Oli and Jim were the same way as their loved ones too; a screaming mess.
"You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you. And you'll never treat yourself right darling, but I want you too." Dan sang, confidence taking over his tense and nervous body.
"If I let you know I'm here for you." Dan sang, about to get the ring from his back pocket.
Cat was, like everyone was doing, fangirling with Ingrid, Hannah, Mamrie, and Grace, all squealing in joy, crying a little.
"Maybe you'll love yourself" Here it comes... "Like I...love you..." Dan opened the velvet box to reveal a silver ring inside, kneeling down on one knee.
And that's when the whole world started to fangirl, cry, let all of their emotions out. Audience members on Twitter updated the phangirls who couldn't come to VidCon, and the reactions were really crazy, but they didn't fangirl over it too much, still trying to be careful over Phan, even though they've came out and are totally comfortable with it now.
"I've loved you so, so, much since day one. Ever since I've watched your videos, I've fell in love. We may get into arguments sometimes, but in the end, we always make up. When I came from Reading all the way to Manchester to meet you, I was amazed by how good you looked in person. You truly are amazing and if it weren't for you, I wouldn't be doing the radio show, hosting the Brits, or even be here. Philip Michael Lester, will you marry me and spend the rest of forever with me?" Dan said, all of the fangirls crying. Tyler was full on hyperventilating, Felicia covered her mouth, her heart aching as a tear fell down her face, and John got a tissue and cried since what Dan said was so sweet. Meghan was trying not to tear up but apparently, she completely failed doing so.
"Yes! Yes, Dan, I'll spend the rest of my life with you!" Phil said, his voice cracking slightly at the end of his answer, wrapping his arms around Dan's neck. Dan held Phil's waist and leant down to kiss him passionately, the crowd clapping for the couple, and all of the youtubers on the panel and backstage doing the same, crying and cheering for them. Dan pulled away, resting his forehead against Phil's, who is slightly out of breath, and Dan wrapped him up in a tight hug, tears of joy forming in his eyes. Phil snuggled into Dan's touch, both in pure bliss. Phil was in Dan's arms and happy tears fell down his face. Dan leant down to kiss his tears, resulting in everyone just blubbering away at that sweet moment. Lots of phones were recording, tweets are being tweeted, Instagram and Tumblr posts are being posted. The whole world is just freaking out about it.
The crowd was just an emotional mess, the whole panel was crying and sniffling into tissues, the youtubers backstage saying how they're "so emotional."
Frank, Dodie, BriBry, Candice, and Evan were just chatting for a bit since they've just met, and after the five of them have saw what happened, they were just like human waterfalls.
Ben was with Troye and Connor in the corner, crying along with each other, while PJ and Chris hugged each other while spamming Dan and Phil on message on their phones  backstage, and Sophie was really touched and emotional, but also happy for them.
GloZell and Colleen were doing the same thing as Meghan was doing on the panel; trying not to bawl their eyes out. And just like her, they both couldn't think about it without being emotional.
Dan, Phil, and the rest of the performers on the panel bid a goodbye to everyone, and when the panel ended and all of the youtubers left, Tyler got Dan's microphone and said "PHAN IS REAL!!" causing the whole audience to scream loudly then "calmly" leave.
The "to-be-married" duo were walking back to Cat's car together after chatting to their friends about the proposal, Dan's arm around Phil's shoulder and Phil leaning slightly into Dan's touch. They went along with Joey and GloZell to the car, since the three have to go to a party.
They bid their goodbyes to the three friends, who are all really emotional, still not getting over what Dan had done to Phil, before going back to the hotel.
Some girls went up to them and told them about the proposal and how special it was. The two gave each of their fans a hug before going into the elevator to their room. They smiled at each other, gazing into each other eyes whenever someone mentioned it.
They got on their floor, more fans coming up to them and asking for selfies, and then came into their room.
The two took a quick shower before lying down on the bed to cuddle. Phil was in between Dan's legs, Dan's arms wrapped around Phil's waist protectively, his hands resting on Phil's tummy.
Dan decided to tweet and post about it, with a picture of Phil's hand entwined with Dan's, the ring on his finger being shown that yes, he really did propose. He also added a caption "Don't cry, craft." Phil also made a tweet and an Instagram post saying he's gonna get married, along with a picture of Dan kissing his hand with the engagement ring on it, the caption being "Don't call me Phil Lester in the near future, call me Phil Howell! It has a nice ring to it :p"
"Wow, Dan, it's been a really great day today." Phil said tiredly, yawning adorably.
"I know, right. I've planned it for months!" Dan said, smiling fondly at Phil, his dimples showing.
"T-thank you for all of this..." Phil mumbled softly into Dan's chest, placing a kiss there. He looked at the ring, about to cry tears of joy.
"You're very welcome, love." Dan replied, grabbing his fiancé's hand and kissing the back of it, making the ebony haired man remember the proposal, blushing like mad.
He couldn't get over it; after all, it was Dan, one of the most important people in his life, who proposed, not just any person.
Phil got his head off of Dan's chest and gazed into Dan's chocolate brown eyes, getting lost in them, Dan doing the same action with Phil's striking blue eyes. The brunette man leaned in, his breath ghosting over Phil's lips. Phil leaned in too, nuzzling his nose with Dan's, slightly teasing him.
Dan was the one who impatiently initiated the soft kiss, holding his fiancé's face in his hands. Phil kissed back the same way, his hand resting on Dan's chest, melting into the embrace of the lips.
Dan broke the kiss, and gave Phil another tight hug, his chin resting on top of his boyfriend's (now fiancé) head. After a long time of just hugging, Phil was just grinning like an idiot, Dan doing the same.
"I'm tired, Danny!" Phil said, a feeling of exasperation lacing his voice  resulting in a chuckle from Dan.
"Okay, let's sleep now then, little one." Dan said sweetly, Phil blushing at the new nickname he gave him.
Dan positioned him and Phil in a spooning position, wrapping his arms around Phil's waist, holding him tightly, his head resting on top of Phil's. The black haired man was peacefully sleeping, his back against Dan's chest, snuggling into his embrace.
"Goodnight, bear. I love you." Phil said softly, wrapping his arms around his neck and pecking his lips before lying down, drifting off to bed, looking precious in his peaceful slumber.
"Goodnight, Phil, I love you more." Dan said, smiling fondly, his fiancé in his arms. Phil heard and smiled to himself, snuggling deeper into Dan before falling asleep and into his dream world.
"You're so beautiful Phil. So, so beautiful." Dan cooed, pecking the back of his neck. Phil could hear what Dan was saying, and softly smiled to himself when he heard those words come out from his mouth.
Phil didn't reply, he was just looking precious and cute in his quiet slumber.
Dan stroked his hair and said "I love you so much." for what was the 500th time this day before climbing out of the spooning position and kissing Phil on the forehead, tucking him in, whispering "My little angel." and then went back to cuddling him while in the process of drifting off to sleep.
