Recap
I notice Liam hasn't been talking. Oh my gosh, he's dead.
I look at him. "Liam, say something."
"Why, hello, Liam." The boy says while smirking.
"Zander." Liam says darkly

"Zander," I said darkly.
I haven't seen him in a while, and I thought that this school year was going to be great because he had transferred to another district. But of course since the world hates me, he's back.
"So Liam, how have you been doing," Zander said with his all so famous smirk.
"I have been-"
"I'm sorry to interrupt you guys. I just wanted to apologize for the way my friend acted. Victoria had no reason to say what she said. So again I'm sorry" replied Darien, one of Victoria's friends. He gave a sheepish shrug and mouthed the word "sorry" again. He then disappeared around the corner.
"Who was that?" Brynn said confused.
"That was Darien one of Victoria's friends. He is the quiet one. He's really nice, I have a few classes with him. I never understood why he is friends with them," says Savannah.
I have always wondered the same thing. Ever since Darien and I were partnered up for a project. He didn't seem like his other douchebag friends. Well maybe he might ditch his friends this year, and be the real him.
Brynn's P.O.V
I stared after him, shocked by his apology. I had not expected that. Maybe he was different from his friends. Not that it even mattered. Nice or not, he was way out of my league, and I knew it.
Still, he was cute. So, so cute.
Just then the bell rang. Everyone got up from the table and left.
"Wow, way to make a first impression," said a voice to the right of me by my locker. I looked over to see a guy with thick wire framed glasses. He wore a black v necked shirt and dark blue jeans.
"I'm Matt," he said, while holding out a hand. I shook it. "I can't believe that you just embarrassed the most popular kid in school. And it's your first day. It was so cool." he said with a slight smile.
"I didn't do anything that was wrong. It was nothing to me." I stated weakly, knowing that Victoria was probably going to make my life horrible. "This is so not how I wanted my first day to begin."
"It's not only you. Those guys hate just about everyone not in their group. So that practically means about ninety-five percent of the school. It's so funny when you consider that the same ninety-five percent loves and worships the ground they walk on."
"Well you can already tell that I'm not apart of that percent. You can count me in the new category for hating the Haters." Well except Darien. He seemed different. But I wasn't going to admit that to Matt.
"The Haters. I like that name. It fits them. Well I gotta get to class. Hope I see you soon," he said winking at me.

I would have loved to say that I had a fantastic day, but it would be a total lie. I felt like a leper though the rest of the day. Every hall I passed, I heard whispers and I felt like people were pointing at me.
After what seemed like forever and a day the final bell rang. I caught the early bus home. When I arrived home mom was waiting for me at the door.
