Recap
"Not interested." I say flatly.
"Oh, c'mon! Everyone wants to know who is crushing on them!" Jordan insists.
"I'm not like the others." I say.
"Okay, fine. Would you care if I said possibly TWO guys liked you?!" Jordan smiled.
"Not for a billion guys." I admit.
"Love is stupid." I say getting up and dumping my tray.
So far for day two...

Later on that day I ran into Matt while I was rushing to get to class after lunch.
"Whoa there Brynn why are you in such a hurry?" Matt asked after I nearly tackled him on my way to class.
"I'm so sorry. I just have to get to class. Didn't the bell just ring?"
"Well yeah it did, but the bell rang to go home. School is over now."
"Are you serious? I thought I was in the library for only fifteen minutes. I swear I didn't take two hours." I was so confused. My mind must have been somewhere else while I was doing last minute homework for my stupid class.
Wait a minute how come nobody even told me it was time to leave. I saw a whole bunch of kids walk in and out of the library while I was in there.
The kids here are just so uncaring. They probably knew that I wasn't paying attention to the
bell ringing. I am so pissed right now.
Plus since I wasn’t in class, Liam should have called me. I have almost every class with him. He should have knew that something was up if I didn't show up to that god forsaken class.
Well I guess that shows what kind of friend he is. So far I don’t like how he is.
"Well thanks for telling me, Matt," I smiled at him.
"No problem I'm happy to help the needy and weak whenever they are in a rush," he smiled back smugly. After that he closed his locker and walked away. But before he walked out of the door, he turned around and winked at me.
I seriously don't know why he just did that, but it's really freaking me out how all these guys are paying attention to me.
At my last schools, most people ignored me because I'm just an average girl.
Everyone always pays attention to my sister. I had no clue why, but they just do. I have always wondered what they see in her. I know that she’s pretty and all, but her personality is just so blah.
While thinking all of this, I was starting to notice that there was no one in the halls besides me.
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe that I missed the bus. I'm so stupid. How am I going to get home now?" I said while continuing to walk around the school.
There was no point in calling my mom or Amanda since they barely ever pick up their phones. So I guess I'll have to walk home.
Right when I started to walk a car pulled up beside me.
"Hey do you need a ride home?" Some mystery guy asked me.
"No I'm okay." I don't think I should accept a ride from a total stranger. My mom may be totally into herself but she at least taught me about that stranger dangers.
Surprisingly, he left after I said that.
After 20 more minutes, I made it home.
When I walked in the house I saw that my mom was in the kitchen making food. That was a really weird sight. She’s terrible at making food. She's worse than me.
"Brynn, why are you an hour and a half late from school?"
"Why would you care? It's not like you have any other times." I stated as a fact, while walking to my bedroom.
"Where are you going?" my mother asked softly. I could tell that under the softness was a demand. I felt a flicker of defensiveness. "Well... I bought a gun today and I thought I would call Liam. You know we'd knock over a few liquor stores and then go get some tattoos," I said back sweetly.
My mom gave a distressed little laugh. "Why do you talk like that honey?"
I didn't even answer her. I just walked away to my room and stayed there.
I only went out of my room for dinner. It was really quiet at the table because Amanda was at a friend’s house.
After dinner I went to Liam's house to see why he didn't notice I wasn't in class. Just as I was walking across the street to his house I saw that he was walking out the door. He then sat on his front porch. I decided that I wanted to scare him. So I sneaked up to him without him noticing.
While jumping out I said,” hello my dearest,” just like they do in the scary movies. The look on his face after that was so funny. It looked as if he peed his pants.
“Oh my gosh! Brynn, why did you do that?”
“I’m just simply trying to establish a rapport with you, Liam, that’s based on humor.” It was the truth, more or less. He has seemed so uptight ever since I’ve been hanging out with Zander. He has to let his personality room free again.
“What are you doing here?”He asked like he thought that I came just to bother him or harm him.
“I’m going to be completely harmless. I was just coming over to see you.” The look on his face told me that he didn’t believe me at all.
“I promise. Cross my heart and hope to die.”
“Okay then,” he said still not believing me.
“Well… I was wondering how come you didn’t notice that I was gone from our classes in the afternoon?”
“Why?”
“Because I was in the library and I must have lost track of time because when I was out Matt told me that school was over.”
“I didn’t notice because we didn’t have our afternoon classes today. I thought that you just left home once you left us during lunch.”
At first I didn’t believe any of the stuff he was telling me. I mean how he could have thought that I would believe that. But he’s an open book. All of his emotions are easy to read. So I just had to believe him since his face looked like a cute innocent puppy.
“I can’t believe that I didn’t know that. Do you know how mad I was when Matt told me school was over? I was going to say that you are a bad friend. But now there’s no need for that. So I guess we can change our topic. Are you going to the movies with us this weekend?”
“I don’t think so. I might be busy,” Liam said.
“Come on pretty please. It’ll be no fun without you.” After I said that he just looked at me. I admit that he was sort of making me nervous. The way he was staring was making me think feel self conscious.
“Fine,” he said. “I’ll go to the movies, but next weekend you have to go to the fair with me.”
I should have known that he was going to ask for something in return. “Okay I’ll go.” After a half an hour I left and went home.
But before I went to sleep i could help but feel that something was going to go wrong this weekend.
