Not Like The Others
Chapter 4.
"That's Victoria Millen and her friends; Miranda, Darien, and Marc." he said giving me a hand.
"Oh. Is that the in-crowd you were talking about?" I asked in a kind of worried tone, but at the same time in a brave like voice.
"Yeah." he replied. "They act like they are at the top. Everyone knows how they act and how stupid they look. Or how they think they could push us around because were not at the high level. But really, we all know they are less than us to think of themselves in that way." he said as I looked at them.
That girl looks so familiar. "The one to the left, thats Miranda.?"
"Yeah? Why?" Miranda. Why does she look so familiar?
"Oh no reason. She just looked like someone I met or saw before, but I don't know from where."
"Oh. Alright, well, let's go." I wonder if Liam was like all these people. Fake. Plastic. Barbie-Like. He seems like it, but at the same time, he doesn't.
We walk into the office and I sit in one of the chairs because the office lady was busy. As I was looking around, I saw all the awards the school has gotten; Five in the last seven years. How is it that this plastic wanna be school got High Scores three years in a row? When all there is is bimbos over here.
"Yes, So who sent you to the office so early in the day?" the lady asked.
"Oh I nee--"
"She needs her schedule. She's new. Schedule for Brynn." that was so polite. Very polite that he just goes and interrupts every sentence I try to say! Hey, when did Amanda get her schedule? Has she even got it, yet? Hmm, oh well.
"Okay, so come around over here and I'll print it out for you. You're already in the system and...." she continued to speak. I tuned her out when I noticed a boy entering the office. He had long brown hair that he spiked up. The most brightest yet deep green eyes. Pale but not white skin. He wore a white shirt and some regular jeans, which he looked good in. I just wanna touch his hair so bad! And his eyes! Right now I am oh so very jealous. I mean, why wasn't I given beautiful eyes like his?
I am pulled from my thoughts once again by Liam. "Hey, we have three classes together. Let me show you to your first."
We walked passed three buildings until finally we reached my first class. We then walked to my second class which I had with Liam. He showed me all my classes and the best ways to get there all in just ten minutes before the bell rang. We walked over to my first class. Math. Oh, how I hate math. I really do, even if I have a sort of high grade, I hate doing this subject.
I walk in and stand there at the entrance. I then decide to walk up to the teachers desk where she is sitting.
"Hi. I'm Brynn. Is this the math class I'm supposed to be in?" I handed her my schedule. What else was I supposed to say. Next to which complete fake idiot do I sit next to in here?
She was writing in a book and shuffling with papers. "Okay, Ms. Evers you can take a seat in this third row next to Jamie and Carson" she ends as I head on over to the seat by the Jamie girl and Carson guy... I hope these people aren't weirdo's because I'm going to be sitting next to them for a while.
I see Carson and Jamie whisper a little before I sit. "Hey, I'm Carson and that's Jamie. You're new I'm guessing." he greeted in a Brittish accent. That's bull. He is not one ounce of British. He told the Jamie girl he was going to try and speak this way? How lame.
"Cut the crap. You're not a real British person." I said.
He gave me a stiff look. "I like you already. I like how you speak your mind and you're not held back by your words. But look, your words are gonna cause you some trouble someday. So watch what you choose to say." he warned me. Like I'm ever goin to listen to that horrible advice.
I gave him my shut-up look. Yeah, thanks for sitting me with this blabber boy. I sat there and tried to understand what we were learning. I couldn't concentrate, so I looked around at all the students in the class. Maybe to see if I find someone familiar that I've seen in the four minutes I was walking the hallways. Or while I was faced down on the floor. I'm so clumsy, I swear.
Yeah, my first impression of these girls and boys was right. They are those conceited, bratty people who care about love and looks. I mean one of the girls who sits in front of me has been looking at herself for half the class period. I can't stand girls like her. You're not as freakin' gorgeous as you wish to be!!
Hey! The gorgeous eyed boy is in this class. Why haven't I noticed!? He was sitting right next to me. He's just drawing stuff in his notebook. Is it random stuff or does he really like to draw?
The bell rings and I'm off to my second class. I meet Liam outside of my second class and we walk in together. Thank goodness I haven't gotten lost or ended up embarrassing myself. Except for the fall. What luck!
Almost all my class entrances were the same. I told the teacher I was new, he or she gave me a desk, I tried to focus, but sometimes I couldn't, then I would just wander my eyes around the room. It was a pointless morning.
I went four class periods being completely bored and, somewhat, confused most of the time. Everytime I walked into class, I felt I was getting stalked. Did that fluffy hair and green eyed boy follow me into all four classes today?! I let that thought go. Maybe I just saw someone who looked like him and he only followed me into one or two classes.
Liam and I walked into the cafeteria and got our food. I followed him to a table. I saw Amanda from across the room and she was with talking to so many people. She's going to turn into a fake, ugly, wish to be barbie like everyone else at this dumb school.
"Hey. I'm Samantha and you are?"
"Oh, I'm Br-"
"This is Brynn. She's new and I'm trying to show her around." That's like the fifth time he keeps interrupting me or my wonderful thoughts!
"Oh. Hello Brynn. What school did you come from?" Samantha asked.
"One up north in California."
"Oh. That's cool. Do you like it here so far?"
"Its okay." It then became so very quiet. Amanda and the other boy and girl sitting beside her were staring at something. Even Liam was silent which is hard to believe because so far I've learned that he loves to talk. I look over my shoulder to see what was so incredibly amazing. I turned and thought 'Oh gossh, not this crap again.'
