"Are you ready to go?" Adam asked from downstairs as he waited for Taylor to get ready. They were going out for breakfast before the interviewers for Vogue came to Taylor's house in LA. "Girls, huh, kid?" Adam laughed, ruffling his son's hair, who was standing next to him waiting for his mom.

"I just need to grab a coat. Hold on!" She said back to him before he heard shuffling and her high heels clicking along the stairs. "I'm ready!" She smiled, kissing his cheek when she reached the bottom of the stairs where they were. He took her by the end, intertwining their fingers together and picked Richard up, setting him on his hip. Although he was getting older, he still liked to be picked up by his parents and they couldn't resist.

They opened the door and walked to the car, entering before starting to drive out of the gates of the house. There were paparazzi outside all the time lately because of the news. People wanted to know more and see more. Although Taylor and Adam hated so much attention, they felt relieved that they could go out with their son without having to worry about anyone finding out and after having to deal with cameras for so long, they learned to escape it a little bit and they figured out how to be together without having people watching. It had been a week since the announcement and they knew it would take a while for the story to die down. Richard didn't pay much attention to cameras and he wasn't too upset about it, he just did what his parents told him to do, which was to ignore them. The little boy was happy that he got to spend so much time with his best friend ever since moving to LA and also he saw his dad everyday as Adam had been basically living with them for the past week. Adam and Taylor's relationship was the way it was six years ago, it was like it never stopped, they were the same goofy couple who loved each other.

"Are you free next week, babe?" Adam asked when they were already sitting on a table waiting for breakfast.

"Yeah, I am. Why?" She responded, smiling softly at him when his eyes lit up.
"I was wondering if we could go to Scotland so he can meet my parents." He told her nervously. He had told his parents the night he found out he was father and they had been begging him to meet their grandson.

"I'd love that but they don't hate me, right?" She questioned worried. They couldn't be too happy that she kept a grandson from them and their son for six years and she was afraid of that. She loved his parents ever since she met them but she hadn't seen them in six years.

"Tay, my parents love you. You could do no wrong in their eyes. They understand. They're happy for us and they want to meet him." He smiled, taking her hand and looking at Richard who was too busy playing on Taylor's phone.

"Okay then. We'll go." She grinned at him. "I'm glad Ricky bumped into you in Nashville." She giggled.

"Me too. I got a son and I've got the woman I love next to me. Couldn't get better than this could it?"

After breakfast they headed to Taylor's house because the interviewer would be there soon. The interview went by quicker than Taylor thought and even though the questions made her somewhat emotional, she was glad she had the chance to explain everything and having Adam next to her made everything better.

"It very nice to see you again, Taylor. You have a lovely family." The photographer, who Taylor had worked with before told her. Mario Testino was one of the best photographers she had ever worked with and she specifically asked him to take pictures of them for the Vogue interview. She decided she wanted a few pictures just for herself, so she could hand them around the house. Her favorite was of Adam and Richard laughing, he had told him a joke and Ricky burst out laughing and Mario was brilliant at capturing it. Then there was one of the three of them, lying on the backyard with Richard in the middle of them, both smiling.

"Thank you so much." She gave him a hug before leading him out the door. She came back to see Richard asleep on Adam's chest while he turned the TV on. "Someone's tired." She commented, smiling as she sat down next to them.

"He had a big morning being the star." He laughed lightly, rubbing his son's back as he slept.

"He did. I'm glad it's over though." She said, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"I'm a human pillow right now." He noted, his chest shaking with laughter, while she joined him. "I don't mind to be honest but I am."

"I love you." She whispered to him, pressing her lips to his, smiling.

"I love you." He kissed her nose. "Maybe we should just let him nap in bed and then wake him up when it's time for dinner." She nodded and he stood up carefully, carrying him upstairs before coming down, smiling at Taylor.

The rest of the week went by quickly and now Taylor was packing hers and Richard's thing so they could go to Scotland. Taylor was nervous, because as much as Adam told her that his parents loved her, she was worried they might be angry at her for keeping such a big thing from them.

"I think I have everything and we don't want to be late so we should get going." She told Adam as he was sitting on the bed with Richard watching TV.

"Relax, love. We still have time. Come here." He smiled, opening his arms and she shook her head, sighing.

"I have to make sure I have everything." She went back to checking everything, while he looked at her for a few second before going over to her.

"Babe..." He touched her waist, making her stop what she was doing to look at him. "You're stressing yourself out for no reason. It's my parents, you've met them before and they love you. They're happy to meet their grandson and they're happy to see you again. Trust my mother was telling me earlier how she can't wait to bake cookies with you again and you know how secretive she is about her secret recipe." He laughed kissing her forehead and pulling her closer to him.

"Thank you for that." She smiled, kissing his lips quickly and took his hand. They sat down on the bed next to Richard. She wrapped her arms around her son and Adam wrapped his around both of them.

"Mom!" Richard whined as he was watching his favorite cartoon and got interrupted by his mom and dad wanting cuddles. "You two are annoying."

"It's starting." Taylor sighed. "He doesn't want my cuddles anymore." She raised an eyebrow looking down at her son.

"I do want them but not now." He giggled, moving so he could kiss her cheek. "I love you so can you both let go of me now?" He asked, smiling innocently, his green eyes shifting between his mom and dad.

"I don't know should we?" Adam asked Taylor, smirking. She laughed when Richard groaned but peeked at her watch to check the time, realizing they had to go to airport to catch the plane.

"You're lucky, kid because we need to go." She said, unwrapping her arms from around him and getting up. Her driver/bodyguard was waiting for them and in thirty minutes they were on her plane, flying to the other side of the ocean with warm and embraces and smiles awaiting them.
