"So, honey, what was it that you wanted to tell us?" Andrea smiled at Taylor from across the table. They were currently having dinner. Taylor's parents had arrived in LA and they were staying with them for a while since they missed their daughter and grandson. When Andrea asked that question, Adam grabbed Taylor's hand under the table giving her small smile. Taylor took a deep breath before her lips formed a smile.
"Well I guess I'll just tell you." She breathed out. "We're having another baby. I'm pregnant." She told them, grinning, her eyes travelling to Adam.
"Yeah, grandma, I'm getting a baby brother or sister." Richard said, loudly and Andrea smiled at the little boy.
"I'm so happy for you, honey. Congratulations!" She stood up to hug her daughter. Scott did the same, hugging Adam as well. "Have you figured out what you'll do with the tour?" She asked worried.
"Yeah, it's all figured out." She spoke with happiness laced in her voice. Happiness because she was having a baby with the man she loved and her parents were happy for them.
Later that night, Taylor and Adam were in bed. Being pregnant meant a lot of things, like mood swings and cravings and one thing that Adam was happy for most of the time, Taylor was almost always horny, which was something that was normal when a woman was pregnant.
"Babe..." Adam moaned as Taylor's lips were attached to his abs, moving lower. "Taylor..." He called out as she started pulling his boxers down. "Tay, stop, stop." He grabbed her hand.
"Wait. What?" Her head snapped up at him. "Are you rejecting me?" She scoffed, getting off of him and sitting on the bed.
"What? No. Of course not." He said immediately and she turned away from him. "Taylor." He touched her back and she squirmed away from him making him sigh. "Babe, come on. Look at me."
"Go to sleep, Adam." She replied, making herself comfortable on the bed and he stayed silent thinking of a way to talk to her. A few moments later, he heard her sniffles. His eyes widening, he grabbed her and turned her around to face him.
"Are you crying? Taylor, no, baby, why are you crying?" He wiped away her tears.
"Because you don't want me and I'm going to get fat and ugly and it's way too hot in here." She cried and he tried not to laugh but failed miserably. "Stop laughing, it's not funny." She glared at him.
"Baby, I want you, I'll always want you, even if you were a hairy monkey with like some weird disease." He said making her giggle. "You could never be ugly. You're the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on. You'll get bigger of course but it's not because you're fat, you're pregnant, there's a difference. I'd love to have sex right now but let me remind you that your parents are in the room next door and so is our son. I'm sure you don't want them to hear us." He told her as tears spilled from her eyes. "I love you, Taylor and nothing will ever change that." He whispered, pulling her into his chest.
"I love you too but we are so having sex when my parents take Richard out tomorrow." She smirked and he laughed pecking her lips. She laid on his chest, listening to his heartbeat as he wrapped his arms around her. "Adam?" She murmured, half an hour later, checking if he was awake.
"Yeah?" He mumbled.
"Can you go get me pickles and nutella?" She asked, sweetly. "Please?" She kissed his cheek and he sighed.
"Yeah, sure, babe. Anything for you." He said, groggily, kissing her head before standing up and putting pants and a shirt on. He smiled at her and walked out the door after grabbing his phone and keys. Once he was at the nearest Walmart, strolling through the aisles, a jar of pickles and of nutella in his hand, his phone started ringing. It was Taylor. "Yeah babe?"
"Can you get ice cream too?" She asked him.
"Ice cream. Got it." He said, walking to where the ice cream was. He picked out her favorite flavor.
"Pregnant wife?" A man said making him look up from the ice creams. The man had a jar of pickles in his hand as well.
"Girlfriend but yes." He laughed, taking the ice cream.
"I feel you, man." He patted him in the back, walking away from him. Adam went to the cashier. After he paid, he got in his car and drove home. When he got there Taylor was already sitting on the stool on the kitchen counter with two spoons in her hands. He smiled at her and sat down, taking everything out. She started eating pickles and nutella at the same time.
"This is disgusting." He commented, watching her eat.
"Shut up. It tastes good." She giggled, continuing to eat. He got another spoon and was about to eat nutella when she slapped his hand away. "That's mine." She said, glaring before giggling. "I'm kidding." He rolled his eyes at her. "We should tell your parents."
"About how disgusting it is to eat pickles and nutella at the same time?" He teased her.
"No, you idiot. About the baby." She laughed and he smiled at her. Despite having to get up at two in the morning to go get her food, he was happy because it meant it was actually happening. Everything he didn't get to do when she was pregnant with Richard, he was doing it now.
"We can facetime with them tomorrow. Well technically today." He suggested and she nodded her head. He leaned in to kiss her lips. "I love you."
"I love you more." She smiled. "You know, you'd be surprised by how good this is." She stated, eating a spoon full of nutella with a pickle on her free hand.
"I'm sure it does, love." He rolled his eyes. What they didn't notice was that Andrea was standing on the doorway watching them adoringly. Her daughter had finally found someone who loved and appreciated her in every way and she was so happy about it. After watching her suffer through heartbreaks she was glad she wouldn't have to do that. She knew Adam was the one for her. Deciding she would reveal she was there, she took a few steps greeting them before getting a glass of water.
"Cravings, huh?" Andrea smiled at them as they laughed. "Well, I'm going back to bed now. I love you guys." She told them, walking away and heading to the bedroom.
"Baby, are you done, can we go to bed now?" He questioned and she shook her head.
"There's still ice cream." She pointed to the container, smirking. After fifteen minutes, she was done and they walked up the stairs to go to bed.
Something had stuck with Adam though and it was something he couldn't stop thinking about. When that man asked him if he had a pregnant wife and he responded it was actually girlfriend, a thought crossed his mind. He liked that word. Wife. It meant something, some sort of a promise. His wife. Taylor as his wife made his heart jump a little. And he thought that maybe he could propose to her soon. He wanted her forever. He was so sure he did. They had a son and another baby on the way but there was no rush. Marriage could wait but would it be that bad if it didn't? Would she say yes if he asked? They loved each other and he thought maybe they could make that promise of forever to each other. Forever is a long time but there was no end to their love and he was certain of that.
