Chapter 5

Hope I didn't keep you all waiting!

And as always, the reason for late updates is SCHOOL.

Yep, SCHOOL is the only thing slowing me down from updating.

But not to worry, I'll finish this story and all my other stories.

Once they're all done, I'll start another fanfic, right now.. I have 2 PPGZ and RRBZ fanfics in drafts, 1 Adventure Time, and the last one is a sercret ( の •̀ ∀-)و Hehehe

Chapter 5

Third Person POV

Buttercup sighed as she sat on one of the chairs in the store. The girls were choosing different kinds of gownd that they could possibly wear at the ball, but none seem to satisfy what they were looking for.

Buttercup didn't even bother to look for the gown, since she was more into simple gowns, this store had too much expensive looking gowns. "Aren't we suppose to go to a store that had cheap gowns?" Buttercup said, aa the girls turned their heads at her.

Mysti giggled, "Buttercup, do you even know who the store owner is?" Mysti asked. Buttercup slightly tilted her head in confusion. Blossom sighed as she went up to Buttercup. "The store owner is her uncle!" Blossom exclaimed in joy, knowing that she could get the gowns for free.

Buttercup rolled her eyes and stood up from her place as she began to look around the store for something simple to wear at the ball. She passed each aisle but none seemed to satisfy what she was looking for.

She felt like she was about to give up until she saw the perfect dress for her.

Buttercup smiled and picked the dress.

It was already time for the ball. Royal families are starting to arrive as rich families start to arrive as well. For the villagers, let's just say they almost crowded the ball room.

A carriage stopped right in front of the castle, four beautiful girls stepped out of the carriage and were wearing masks since it was a masquerade ball.

"Why do we have to wear masks?" Buttercup asked, she was wearing a green strapless gown with simple designs and a green mask.

"Isn't the answer obvious Buttercup?" Mysti replied bluntly. She was wearing a lavender strapless gown (the one on the top) with a lavender mask.

"I'm excited to go in!" Bubbles exclaimed excitedly as she dragged Blossom inside the castle while the other two girls were following them.

Meanwhile....

Prince Brick's POV

I sighed as I looked for my lovely flower in the crowd, but I can't seem to find her. And to make things hard enough for me, all guests were wearing masks.

Boomer and Butch left and did the same thing I was doing, looking for my flower, but the dear universe forbid me to when I heard Princess Sarah's voice.

"Bricky!" She yelled as she gave me a hug. Honestly, she has been annoying for the past three days and I just want her out of my life.

I turned to face her with a fake smile.

"Hi, Sarah.." I said in my most gentle voice as I picked up her hand and kissed it. I looked to see her reaction and a visible blush could be seen on her cheeks.

"I have been looking everywhere for you! Where have you been?" She asked, hugging my arm. I rolled my eyes and looked away as I scanned the room. From the corner of my eye, I saw her... I saw Blossom, she was beautiful than before.

Oh how I wished I could be right there beside her, but of course.. I don't want to be rude towards Princess Sarah.

But alas, I have been saved by James.

HE was wearing a golden mask and a tuxedo and it suited him perfectly.

"Milady, may I have this dance?" He asked, stretching a hand towards Sarah. I looked at Sarah and gave her the look. She nodded and grabbed James hand as he pulled her to the dance floor.

I silently thanked James and turned to see Blossom, she was still standing there. How do I know that it was her? Well, even with the mask on, I could indentify if it's her or not.

I started heading my way towards her.

We meet again, my flower

Prince Butch's POV

I have been walking aimlessly around the ball room for minutes now and I still couldn't find my darling Buttercup. I know she has to be here, I can feel it.

Every now and then, I would bump into royal families and spend a little time talking to them. I just hope I can find her.

I turned and accidentally bumped into a girl. She had short black hair and was wearing a simple green strapless gown and a green mask. I immediately knew who this was.

Buttercup

Our eyes were locked together. I could see a visible blush on her cheeks, even under the mask. Oh how long I waited for this moment.

"I-I'm sorry!" She stuttered, clasping her hands together.

I chuckled and grabbed one of her hands as I looked deep into her eyes. "It's quite alright... May I have this dance?" I asked. Her emerald green eyes, they shine like the actual emerald.

She nodded and I pulled her to the dance floor.

I'm glad I can finally dance with her again..

Prince Boomer's POV

I was walking in the hallways, I can't find Bubbles. I expected her to be here but.. I must be mistaken. I walked to the balcony, planning to feel the sea breeze.

When I arrived there, I was shocked to see Bubbles, she was wearing a baby blue dress and she absolutely looked cute in it.

She was staring at the stars and even if she had a mask on, I know that it was her.

I cleared my throat and got her attention.
She turned and we made eye contact. It felt like seeing an angel for the first time.

"H-Hi..." she stuttered, I could see a visible blush on her cheeks as she played with her fingers. I smiled and walked towards her.

"Hello, what's a lovely flower like you here? Shouldn't you be in the ball?"

Finally Bubbles, I can see you again.

A/N: Chapter 5 ish now done! Finally! I updated a bit faster this week. I get to spend 5 days with no school!! Yeah!

Okay, so about my 2 PPGZ and RRBZ fanfictions..

Both are in the drafts sections and I'm sure you guys would love it once I will publish it! ^_^

One PPGZ and RRBZ is about the ruffs being bad boys and are suppose to play with the puffs' feelings but instead, they fall for them.

And the other one is about the ruffs being expirements and fell in love with Professor Utonium's daughters.
