Chapter 10

Third Person P.O.V

At the Market

Blossom's P.O.V

I sighed heavily as I continued to walk through the crowd of people. Living everyday like this is really tiring, I just want to become a mermaid again and go back to the sea.... where I belong. Who needs Prince Brick anyway? I know he is better of with Princess Sarah.. They make a good couple...

'You care for him idiot! You need him!'

'No, I don't!'

I came into a stop and shook my head, trying to forget the conversation I had with myself. To take my mind off of things, I decided to check if I have everything I need. Eggs....Milk....Cheese... and other random stuff. I smiled, knowing that everything seemed to be in order. Just as I aas about to take amother step, I bumped into someone. The ingredients fell out of my hands, my eyes closed for impact, and the image of a mess was in my mind.

I waited for the impact but, I didn't feel anything. As soon as I opened my eyes, my pink eyes came into contact with red ruby ones. I blushed at how close my face was with this stranger. I could tell that this 'stranger' was a boy, judging by the strong grip he has around me. He lifted me up and handed me my basket, which I thought would be already splattered on the ground.

I got my basket from and whispered a 'thank you'. He smiled under his hood and nodded. "You should be careful next time, my precious flower~" he said and started walking away. Realization hit me hard when I replayed the words the stranger told me.

'My precious flower..'

I know, the only one who calls me that was Prince Brick. No other. I turned around to see if he was still there but all I could see were people. I shook my head in disbelief.

"There is no way that could be him.."

Bubbles' P.O.V

I smiled to myself as I checked everhthing on the list. I giggled, "Everything seems to be in tip top shape!" I exclaimed happily. I then wrapped my cute arms around the handle of the basket and lifted it up, only to find it heavy for me to carry.

I lowered down the basket quickly and gave out a huff. "Waah... This basket's too heavy for me to lift..." I muttered and lowered my head in disappointment. Sometimes, I wish to be strong like how Buttercup and Blossom are... Even.. *blush*.. Prince Boomer. But I know, I can't.

I'm just a girly girl.. Not a unique girl who is strong. Sighing, I stood up until I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. I looked back and saw a person wearing a cloak with a hood. The stranger lifted his head and baby blue eyes met dark blue ones. I blushed a bit and looked down, not wanting to stare into those eyes for any longer.

"May I help you with that?" He asked, pointing at the basket I was trying to lift. I nodded and smiled. Finally! A person who can help me. He then walked to the basket and lifted it up like it was nothing. "Thank you for helping me, sir!" I exclaimed happily. I heard him chuckle.

"Anything for my precious flower~" he said and started walking. My eyes widened when I heard him say 'my precious flower' in the end of the sentence. The only one who has ever called me that was Prince Boomer. I looked at him from behind, still wondering.

'Is this really him?'

Buttercup's P.O.V

I let out a tired groan as I continuously walked aimlessly around the market. I couldn't believe it, I got myself lost! And to add that up, I'm carrying a heavy load! Ugh. I continued to walk aimlessly until I finally gave up. "Looks like I have to say goodbye.." I muttered.

I hung my head low and rested on a bench, which I just randomly found. I knew I could never be as smart as Bubbles and Blossom, they could easily navigate their way out of a crowd! While me? Pfft.. I'm nothing but a nutbrain. Just when I was about to yell out for my sisters, someone tapped me on the shoulder.

I turned back and saw a hooded stranger. I could tell that this stranger was a boy since he didn't wear a dress and looks pretty tall. His head lifted up and I saw the most beautiful shade of green on his eyes. They seemed to have shine when we made eye contact.

I got a fluttering feeling in my stomach, and this feeling was somehow familiar. I couldn't recall what feeling was this. "Do you need help?" He spoke. I sighed and nodded, "Yeah, I'm lost.. I was trying to get back to the fountain at the Town Square.." I said. He gave me a nod before lifting my heavy basket up.

"You don't need to carry that for me though.." I said, trying to make him put the basket down. He insisted and I couldn't argue with that, he's just a stranger trying to help.. Or was he? Those green eyes did look familiar though.

He started walking and I followed him. I still kept an eye on him, he does really look familiar. (Are you this dense Buttercup?)

Third Person P.O.V

Blossom was the first one to arrive in the fountain. Soon, Bubbles came into view with the stranger that has been helping her carry the baskets. Blossom gave a wave to Bubbles, not really noticing the stranger. The hooded person gave Bubbles her basket and immediately left without her knowing.

"Hey Blossom!"

"Hi Bubbles!"

"Did you get everything?"

"Yep!"

Blossom looked down on Bubbles' basket and it sure looked heavy. Blossom pointed at the basket before speaking, "Your basket looks heavy... How did you carry it all the way here?" Blossom asked, looking at Bubbles in disbelief.

"A stranger helped me, Blossom.. He saw me struggling.." Bubbles replied in a cheerful tone. Blossom's eyes widened before she grabbed Bubbles' shoulders and violently shook them. "Are you crazy, sister?! You might've been kidnapped! Or worst! Robbed!" Blossom yelled, getting attention from innocent bystanders/townfolks passing by.

Bubbles just smiled before gently placing Blossom's hands off her shoulders. "Bloss, you're exagerating... Besides, I didn't get robbed, did I?" Bubbles said. Blossom sighed and nodded.

"I know, but next time... Just scream out our names..." Blossom replied. Buttercup then came into view a few minutes later. Buttercup seemed breathless when she arrived. Blossom and Bubbles looked at Buttercup and gave her the 'are-you-okay?' look. Buttercup just nodded before she sat down on the edge of the fountain.

"Are you okay, Buttercup? You seemed to be tired.." Bubbles said in a concerned tone. Buttercup just took big breaths before speaking. "Yeah.. I'm tired... I had to carry a heavy load! And the worst part is.. I got lost!" Buttercup exclaimed as she threw her arms up.
"Then how were you able to navigate your way out?" Blossom asked.

"A stranger helped me.." Buttercup muttered, but loud enough for her sisters to hear. Blossom then did the same thing she did with Bubbles when she told him about the whole stranger thing. Buttercup rolled her eyes at how protective Blossom was to her, it's not like she is her mom anyways.

"But he seemed familiar though.." Buttercup said, silencing Blossom's rant while Bubbles looked at her. "Mine too!" Bubbles exclaimed, breaking the silence. Blossom just looked at Bubbles and Buttercup before picking up her basket. "No more wasting time.. We need to bring the ingredients to the bakery...NOW.." Blossom said and started walking with Buttercup and Bubbles following behind.

'Looks like the wheels of fate are spinning..'
