Chapter 3: Barely Breathing

I woke up in this room. It was black with brown shelves and weird objects on them. I was strapped onto a metal table and I was wearing different clothing. I was wearing a black shirt, with long black skinny pants , and black long, straight from the bottom, boots. I started to struggle my way out, but I notice something on my wrist.

It was a blue, little skull and it was glowing Aqua blue. I also noticed, I wasn't panicking, I felt angry and I didn't feel anything else, but anger. I started to budge myself out the straps. I got one arm out and then the other. I unstrapped my legs and got off the table.

I saw the things on the shelves, they looked like some sort of gadgets and gizmos.

"Wow, your awake." Said a voice behind me.
I turned around and kicked him across the room. I looked at my hand and legs.

"What, what did you do to me! Tell me what you did to me!" I screamed in anger.

"Look, just stay calm, okay?"

"How can I stay calm and how dare you turn me into whatever I am!!" I screamed at him, grabbed him by the neck, and threw him across the room.

Bang! Crash!

While I threw him, a shelf was knocked down.
"If your trying to kill me or something, well let me tell you, it's not gonna work. You see I'm just like you, so please don't throw me and just calm down." He told me while trying to get up.

"What do you mean, just like me??" I told him.

"Well, here's the thing, I made you again, which
means I saved your life, your welcome."

"I'm not thanking you until you tell me what you did to me!"

"Fine, I remade your heart and organs. I added a special liquid in you, which means you can still live, but you stay the same age, you live forever, and you have some special skills. I on the other hand have been living since the Civil War broke out. You see, I was made by another scientist and successfully I have made you. I made some other people, that I saved, but you will meet them way later on. Nothing can kill me, no matter how anyone tries. I still have my emotions, but not as much strength. I am a highly intelligent man. When I made you, I had to take all emotions that were part of the brain, except anger, in order for you to fully live."

"What!?"

I grabbed him and threw him again.

"What did I say about throwing me!"

"What does this liquid do to me?!"

"The liquid is called Ferasium and it fixed all your organs and especially your heart. You could of died if I didn't find you."

"Who are you?"

"My name, well it's Chuck, Melissa."

"You know me?"

"Yeah, your boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend, talked about you a lot, plus he's one of my good friends."
"Steven, I need to find them."

I started to walk out, when Chuck went in front of me.

"Okay, here's the thing, you can't go, not just yet." He told me, while directing me to sit down.

"Why can't I?"

"First you know how to use your power and the things you can do. You can run as fast as a car and even faster, you can control the elements, such as fire, water, air , you get it, you can fall from 30 feet, no higher, or unfortunatly your system will be crushed and die, you have amazing strength, which I programmed into your system, and you can do a lot more, which I will tell you along the way.

"Okay, got it, may I go now?"I asked him.

"First I want you to try your skills."

"Fine, where do I do that?"

"One of the worst places you expect."

"Don't tell me."

"Yes, the alley, where your mom told you to stay away."

"Fine, I will be back."

I started to walk out.

When Chuck handed me some glasses.

"What's this?"

"It's to hide your aqua blue eyes." I took them and put on the black glasses.

"Okay I got it, I won't be back, I need to see what happened with everything."

I started to walk out again.

"Melissa, You are no longer of this world, your another type of species. You can't just go back to the world. Your Old life is Gone now, you need to let go." He told me. I stopped and turned around.

"Not yet."

I walked out then tried the "super speed", he talked about. I started to run and run. I ran as fast as he described.
