Chapter 10: A Blurry World

Melissa's (Aka Agent)  P.O.V
I woke up chained up onto a bar that was on the ceiling. The chain was glowing pink and it was like i was human again, not strong and i tried to use my mind to control something but it shocked me.

I looked at my wrist and my skull wasn't glowing aqua blue anymore. I looked around and there was three other people with me and unconcious.

"Hey!" I screamed angrily.

I got no response and i struggled to get out only to be shocked.

I stopped trying and just hung there. Then a man walked in, that i never seen before, and looked straight at me.

"Can i help you with something ??" I asked angrily.

"In your state, you can't," he chuckled and went onto checking the rest of the people.

They all had different shapes on their wrists, but it didnt glow.

"What do you want !?" I said angrily.

"Nothing of the sort, I'm checking on Joseph's guests to make sure they are all okay," he chuckled.

"Why does he want me?"

He walked closer to me with a needle. I struggled to move, but kept getting shocked.

"Go any closer and you die !!" I shouted only to be shocked.

"He especially told me to give you a gift, a very special one indeed. When you awake I Hope you love the new you!!" He said happily.

"Get away from me" i screamed angrily.

And he injected me with a maroon liquid and i felt different. My veins felt like they were going to explode, my stomach turned upside down, my brain felt like attempting suicide, and i couldnt stop screaming.

It all hurt too much and i couldnt take it. The strange man let me loose, this was my chance to kill him, but my body refused to move and then the liquid got to my heart and i shut down. I was this person i never imagined before every memory gone i felt amazing.

"Are you feeling okay Young One ?" The man said.

"Yes sir, i feel fanatastic," i Chuckled.

He handed me a mirror and my eyes were maroon and then i saw the little skull that was glowing maroon. Inside i felt this voice telling me to run but i ignored it.

"My name is Harold, but you can call me Harry Darling," the man stated.

"Where's my master?" I said.

"Right this way," he replied.

I followed him to this room that was huge and had a brown desk right dot in the middle and everywhere there were painting of himself looking in the army.

"Melissa, nice of you to join me," Joseph answered.

"Its nice to be here sir," i replied.

"I have a special task just for you, this man named Steven is out in Chicago Right now and i need him here, got that?"

He showed me a picture of him and i made sure i rememebered his face.

"I won't disappoint  you sir," i stated.

"I know you won't, make sure you restrain him okay? And if he gets out of hand knock him out with this black liquid, and if he doesnt listen drain his powers for a good two hours with this white liquid. Don't kill him," he replied.

"On it sir, who's this man anyway?"

"An old friend of mine that needs to be controlled,"

"Ill be taking off sir,"

Then on i left the building and searched for the man named Steven.

Steven's P.O.V
I left the airport and started walking around downtown only to be stared at by people. I had forgotten i was walking around in all black clothing in the middle of fall and the sun wasnt out and i was wearing my black glasses.

I went to the nearby store which was Areopostle and bought an entire outfit. I bought a blue shirt saying Areopostle, black skinny jeans, then bought some convers, a bookbag, and bought some hazel contacts. I looked like myself again and i was rocking it all. It had been a while since i got to be human once more and then Melissa came up to mind and i went back to searching for her.

I walked by an alley and jumped onto the roof of building to dodge all humans and then watched the sunset which was beyond beautiful. I pictured Melissa all Happy just like before and then something grabbed my hands and restrained me.

"Don't move or it get ugly !!" The voice behind me said angrily.

"Melissa!!?" I questioned.

I blasted a barrier around me and she was pushed back off the building. I ran to see if she was okay and surely she was. She jumped back onto the  building and stared at me.

"Melissa? Are you okay? Why are your eyes maroon?" I asked.

She ran towards me and punched me and put her leg on me.  She then had this liquid and tried to inject it into me, but i mindly controlled it and took it from her kciked her off and then looked at the liquid.

"Hes controlling her," i whispered.

I looked at her and she ran towards me and kicked me off the building. I landed on a garbage can and then she pushed me against a wall and punched me over and over. I pushed her and then grabbed the garbage can near me and threw it at her.

She fell near a door and a man came out asking us to leave. She grabbed the man and snapped him into two. This dark maroon shadow went over her and her voice deepened .

"Melissa, its me Steven!!" I screamed.

"Stand still!!" She shouted and kicked me onto the wall and broke the building.

She then came up fast and choke slammed me onto the floor. She had two liquids, one black and the other white. I mentally grabbed the white and injected it into her. She got furious and threw me through four walls. I ran back and she was unconcious. I looked at the skull on her wrist which contained the liquid and it wasnt glowing.

I carried her body and took her to a hotel. I tied her up just incase she was still drugged and waited for her to awaken. I called Chuck and he would be there in the morning. I watched her unconscious self  and very slowly her veins slowly lost color.
