An Unexpected Adventure (LARRY STYLINSON)

CHAPTER 3

When they got back from the mechanics, Sandy told the others what was said about the bus. Liam said that they really need to get ahold of management and let them know what was going on. Harry says remember that our phones don't work and we have no other way to contact them. Sandy got up from where she was sitting and went and got her phone and told Liam that you are more than welcome to use my phone. He told her thank you and left to call management, but then he got to thinking about where they will be staying. So he comes back in and says I don't what to tell them about where we will be staying until the bus is ready. Sandy tells him that they are more than welcome to stay here with her, because she lives all alone and he says THANK YOU.  He then leaves and calls management to let them know what was going on and tell them that they have a warm place to stay and the lady that owns the house is being very nice to them and hasn't ask for any kind of compensation.  Liam then comes back into the dining room and tells the others that management wasn't very happy about them going to be out of communication for the next week and they were kinda mad about the bus breaking down, but how was anyone to know that the bus had something wrong with the engine. 

The group of guys started getting hungry, and asked Sandy if there was anything that they could make for lunch and she told them that there was a lot of stuff in the kitchen and to help themselves to whatever they wanted to eat.  She told them that she was going to go and change to go swimming, they all gave her a dirty look because it was about 35 degrees outside. She just snickered and told them that she has an indoor heated pool and can swim year round, and when they got done with lunch that they are more than welcome to join her.  After changing, she walked to the glass doors in the dining room and walked out and jumped in the pool. When everyone else was done eating lunch, they went and got changed and came out to the pool and went swimming too.  After about an hour, Sandy got out of the pool and dried off, she told them that she was going to go in and shower, change and get things together to cook supper. She went in did what she said and went to look at the others and they were have a blast. Harry and Louis were cuddled up on the side of the pool looking lovely into each others eyes, nobody was paying them any attention. So she turns around and goes to the kitchen and starts working on supper.  After a couple of hours the others get out of the pool and goes inside to shower and change.  Once they are all done, they all go and sit in the dining room and start talking about nothing specific.  Harry gets up and goes in the kitchen and asked if there is anything that he could help with and Sandy tells him no thank you. He's about to leave and goes back and asks if he could talk to her about something, she says of course. Harry tells her that he seen that she has a gazebo out back and was wondering if he could have her help doing something. She tells him she will do as best as she can and help him.  He says that he wants to propose to Louis, and he don't want any of the others to know about it, and he wants it to very romantic and wants her help to set up the gazebo with a picnic. She says she would be glad to help but she would need some help to get some of the things gathered up so that it won't be to cold for them and Harry says ok.

Once supper is ready, Sandy calls them to the table to eat and goes back into the kitchen to grab the salad and garlic bread. She puts them on the table and goes back into the kitchen and grabs the spaghetti and brings it back and sits it on the table.  She then proceeds to go to her room while they all eat.  George is the first to notice that she left and asks the others if they seen where she went and they say no.  He gets up and goes looking for her and he finds her in her room and goes in and asks why she isn't eating and hasn't eaten all day.  She tells him that she isn't hungry and she gets like this 2-4 times a week.  He gets upset and tells her that this is not good for her not to eat and she says its been like this for the past year and her body is use to it.  He asks her why does she do and she said that today is a really hard for her because today is the one year anniversary of her families death and she hasn't wanted to burden anyone with it.  He tells her if she is in pain she should talk about so that she doesn't do something stupid like starving herself.  She tells him that he is right and she should go out there and tell the others why she has been acting strange all day.  They leave out of her room and goes and sits down at the table and Steve tells her she needs to eat and fixes her a plate.  They all pipe up and tell her that they all have noticed that she hadn't eaten all day and want to know why. Sandy gets tears in her eyes and proceeds to tell them why.  See one year ago today my husband and kids where killed in a car crash, they were hit head on by a drunk driver.  I wasn't feeling well and they were going to go to the store and get groceries. When they left, I went and laid down and ended up falling asleep. I woke up 3 hours later and they still weren't home and I was beginning to worry, so I went and sat down on the couch. Thirty minutes later, a knock came to the front door and when I opened it there stood 2 cops and ask if my name was Sandy and I told them yes.  They said I have bad news and your family was killed instantly when a drunk driver hit them head on.  I just broke down and cried, they were my life. I had to get over it because now I am going to have to plan three funerals and I didn't know how I was going to do it.  I never got to tell them how much I loved them and that I miss them when they are gone.  The group of guys got up and came around hugged her while she cried uncontrolled.  She told them thank you and it was a big help to get it off her chest.  She then proceeded to tell them that was why George was in her room this morning, he had gotten up last night and heard her crying and came in a sat with her and helped to calm her down.  I ended up falling asleep with my head in his lap and he didn't want to wake me up so he just leaned back on my headboard and went to sleep. 

When everyone was done eating, Louis and Niall cleared the table and did dishes so Sandy could go and relax.  Everyone ended up watching a movie and about 11pm when the movie was done (they ended up watching 3 movies), everyone headed there separate ways and went to bed.  Sandy asked George if she could talk to him a minute and he said yes.  They went to her room and shut the door. She tells him she is going to need his help in the morning to set up something for Harry, and he asked like what. She tells him that Harry wants to propose to Louis and wants to do it on the gazebo and she needs help to get it ready for him.  He tells her just wake him up whenever she is ready in the morning and she says ok and good night.
