izuku entered the dungeon. it was just as he left about 2 years ago. immediately teleporting to the 76th floor, he looked around. in that instant, the second part of the demon king's quest began. Suddenly, he was surrounded by hundreds of monsters. most of them were at least several stories tall, with the largest the size of skyscrapers. 

izuku weighted his options. along with his army, there were the 5 new elite knights. 2 of them were on the verge of ranking up to general. along with that there was ammo who needed more exp. and there were Icarus and Gluttony, who were halfway there. there were several tasks he needed to perform here. first, he needed the cure for izumi and that was the priority, second, for the upcoming war, he needed more soldiers in number and quality. and finally, if possible, understand the curse of destruction and its connection to the demons. 

as monsters were surrounding him, he unleashed his army. Thousands of soldiers were released, unleashing real hell upon this artificial floor. his new commanders were hunting down the strongest of the creatures while he waited. it perhaps took them a few hours to completely slaughter every monster from the floor. 

after getting the floor pass, he ventured to the next floor. 

in the real world:

enchantress was with the kids, putting them to sleep. whereas igris was with the girls, they couldnt sleep so they instead began to chat with each other. the knight was simply accompany them. he was just sitting on a couch. patiently waiting and listening. but he was also extremely alert, ready to detect and kill anything. rest of the general was were organizing the shadow garrison left behind. thats when izumi spoke.

izumi: "Igris-san?"

igris: "yes my lady?"

izumi: "what are you really?"

igris thought about it, he needed to best describe this without scaring them off. 

igris: "I am a shadow my lady. born of his power, and shaped by his consciousness."

izumi: "like dark shadow?"

igris: "perhaps."

izumi: "but you seem fully independent."

igris: "because I am my lady. me, tusk, iron, enchantress, every royal shadow serving our liege, we are all fully sentient and independent."

shino: "but you werent able to talk before from what I remember."

igris: "thats because my voice wasnt reaching to you yet. once I ascended into higher ranks, I my voice could also reach to you and to my liege." 

katsumi: "I see."

izumi: "but you can now?"

igris: "yes. so can tusk, enchantress, and others."

izumi: "what will you do now?"

igris: "my job is to protect you. and I will accomplish that task with my life."

shino: "but........... arent you are immortal?"

igris: "exactly."

izumi: "igris-san, the war AFO is talking about. do you think I........."

igris: "my lady, would you like my honest opinion?"

izumi: ".......yes please."

igris: "I believe that my liege is right. you should not be involving yourself in this affair. war brings to worst of us. it leaves a forever taint in our souls. war isnt your place......."

izumi looked down for a moment but then igris continued

igris: "I believe this not because you are weak, but because you are a kind and a gentle person. and I also believe that one day you will be a great hero. or perhaps a saint."
