Prologue
~
I was lathering shampoo into my long brown hair when I heard the door to the bathroom opening..
Oh great, I forgot to lock it! I hate when it opens on it's own... ouch! DARN IT! I got suds in my eyes...
I reached out of the shower stall blindly, looking for a towel to wipe the suds off my green eyes on.
A shock zinged through my arms; stupid static electricity!
The towel was snagged on it's hanger... it was so hard to pull it into the shower stall...
Got it!
Something clanged to the floor as I wiped my eyes.
I looked to see what it was... A knife!
The blood was rushing down the drain -playing Catch with the soapy water- as my heart jumped into my throat. I could hear it beating in my ears: thud-thus, thud-thud, thud-thud... Suddenly I realised that I couln't be holding a towel; the texture was all wrong.
I looked at the fabric was clutching in my hand; it was a shirt.
I screamed for all I was worth and ran out of the shower. I didn't dare look back to see who the creepy psycho killer was; that would have been dumb!
I heard the footsteps that followed closely behind me.
But then I slipped on something.
I looked around where I landed... Blood... I am sitting in a pool of blood...
I couldn't breathe.
I heard whoever it was stop, but I couldn't concentrate on the fact I was about to die because I was looking into deep brown eyes.
My little brother's eyes.
But he didn't see me... and never will he see me.
In fact, he will never see anything ever again; he was dead.
Everything faded away into a never-ending sea of black...
