Bestfriends. Chapter thirty

Hayes Pov
I shut my laptop and glanced over at the time. 3:30 pm. I had slept in until 12 today because we all stayed up late last night. Since we all had to leave at 3 am tomorrow morning to catch our plane, I decided to take a shower. I got out of the shower fifteen minutes later and put on gray Nike joggers and a sweatshirt so I wouldn't have to change into pjs or an outfit later on. I lugged my suitcase out of my closet and set it on my bed. I packed a ton of shirts, shorts, joggers, and khakis. I also put in other things like vans, bathing suit, beanies and sunglasses - typical parts of my wardrobe. By the time I was almost done packing it was 4:30 and I decided to go downstairs to get pop tarts. I jogged down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. Brittany was at the Keurig making a cup of coffee. I grabbed my pop tarts and she turned around. "What's up?" I asked. "Since magcon starts tomorrow, I need to go shopping. Do you want to come?" She asked. "Yess when are we going to leave?" "Is 5 okay?" She answered. "Yeah I'll be ready " I replied, then walked out of the kitchen and back up to my room.
Brittany's pov
I quickly grabbed my coffee cup and my phone off the counter in one swift motion and sprinted upstairs. I had 15 minutes to get ready. I put on light high waisted jeans, a white crop top and a flannel. I grabbed my phone and a white clutch and walked back down the stairs to the living room. Hayes was already waiting for me. "Hey" hayes said looking up from his phone and smiling. "Hey" I replied and followed him out the door to my car. "Just a heads up, I've never been shopping with a girl so I have no clue what to do" Hayes mentioned as I pulled into the malls parking garage. I laughed. "You'll follow me around and help me make decisions. " I said. "Okk" he replied. We got out of the car and walked into the mall. We both put sunglasses on so no one would recognize us. We shopped for a long time. Hayes and I were having a great time. He's always been there for me. "I can't believe we leave for Miami tomorrow " I said as I looked through the racks at pacsun. "I know it's going to be crazyyyyy" he answered. I nodded and kept my head down. I choose a couple of things and checked out. "Do you still have feelings for cameron ?" He asked looking up at me. I sighed. "I don't know, I'll always care about him but things just don't feel the same. I feel like he thinks of me as a monster. I loved him a lot but it's wearing off. Only because he's not making an effort to be with me. " I answered. "I get it, are you rooming with cameron for Magcon?" He asked. "I don't know, it could be any of you. Devon said that we'll all figure it out when we check in and get our room keys. " I replied. "Ohh, let's hope you don't get taylor or Sammy" Hayes said. "What the hell?! Their going ???" Hayes laughed. "Ya but if you get one of them I'll let you switch rooms with me" "thank you so much " I said and engulfed him in a hug. "Anytime " he answered and we walked away towards my car. We got inside and drove to our house. "I'm just packing for the rest of the night. Your welcome to hang with me until I'm done" I suggested as I set my keys down on the kitchen counter. "Sure I can help you pick out outfits" he said, then we walked upstairs to my room. "I'm getting stuff out of my closet if you want you can look through my dresser for stuff" I said walking into my closet. I grabbed a few dresses and skirts with heels and came back out to my room. Hayes was standing over my dresser. "I think you should wear this" he said holding up red lace lingerie. I bursted out laughing. "Then put it into my suit case" I said laughing. "Woah are you serious " he said I nodded my head as I giggled. "Which one should I wear tomorrow" I asked pointing to the outfits that i laid out on my bed. "This one " he said picking up a floral top and bottom. I placed more and more of my clothes into my suitcase until it was packed to the fullest. "Ugh I don't have any room for these two pairs of heels. " I whined. "You can put them in my luggage" Hayes suggested and I thanked him. "I love it when you wear heels " Hayes randomly said. "Aw thanks hayes" I replied blushing. I walked into the bathroom and began throwing my everyday products into a travel cosmetic bag. Then I felt a pair of big muscular arms wrap around me. I looked up to see hayes. I grabbed his phone out of his pocket and snapped a picture of us. I captioned the picture 'helping my bestfran pack' and posted it to his Instagram. "Im really tired. " he said yawning "you can fall asleep in here if you want " I replied. He walked over and laid on my bed. I laid down on the other side and turned on an alarm for 1 am. I was drifting off to sleep as hayes pulled me closer. My eyelids shut and I fell asleep in my best-friends arms.
