The Aqua centre was quiet today. I only saw a lady and her young 3-year-old daughter.
I came down the staircase, quiet as usual and looked up. I was so taken aback that I fell backwards only to land and whack my back on the bottom of the stairs. An instant bruise showed up on my back and I had to swallow down tears. I didn't want anyone seeing me crying. That would just make me less popular at school and I would get teased even more.
I pushed that thought away and instead I stared in amazement at the sight before my eyes. The reflection of the blue water danced and shimmered on the floor. I walked towards the thin glass and saw a city of colourful fish. I quickly stepped back when a huge mouth lined with razor teeth came towards me but relaxed when a little orange and black striped fish came up to me.
I went to put my hand on the glass but a sign strictly said not to. The fish seemed to be telling me something, like it wanted out and that is when I made the stupidest move in my life.
I touched the glass. Then I heard a crack.~~~
Hi! This is a short story that I wrote a few years ago....
It isn't the best because I was a lot younger, but I hope that everyone likes it......
I wrote this story because we were doing creative writing in class and the topic was 'And then I heard a Crack', and it showed a picture of a big glass tank with a crack in it... so that's where the idea came from.....
I like writing short stories, not really long stories, but I LOVE TO READ LONG STORIES!!!!
I will happily read anyones story....(I really want to read another wattpad book!)
Anyway, thanks.
This chapter goes to Monique, KingKong (u know who u r), and Kathryn! XP
