Fire With Fire - Chapter 3

ANAYA

Avil won't know what hit him. Damn, he didn't know who he was messing with then and he still doesn't know. Foolish boy!

In about five minutes he's going to regret ever getting me into trouble with my parents, and in about two minutes from then I'm going to hear the sweet cry of revenge from Avil.

Grabbing my walkie talkie, I went to the balcony and hid myself behind the picnic table my dad bought for weekend breakfast purposes and outings.

From my balcony, you can basically see Avil's room which was a few metres far. Want to know what's going to happen to him? You'll just have to wait...Wait for it...wait for it...

'Ahhhhh...', Avil screamed.

Ah! There it is! The sweet cry of revenge.

'Isla, Avil got it', I whispered into the walkie talkie.

'Anaya, you sure you're not deaf?! The whole street heard him, idiot. I know he got it good', Isla said.

'Okay. I gotta go. I think Avil saw me. Bye. See you soon', I said hurriedly.

I think I heard her say, 'I swear that girl's gone mental!'. Eh!

Right now, I've got to go before....

'Anaya', Avil said gritting his teeth.

Uh oh! Too late to turn back now. Whatever, he doesn't scare me.

I slowly crept from behind the table and turned to face him with a sickly sweet smile on my face.

'Avil, you look particularly...red today.' I laughed out loud at his appearance.

Wondering what's going on? I don't blame you. Anyone would be confused. But if you have guessed my prank by now, keep your mouth shut, will you? Wouldn't want any spoilers now, do we?

2 Hours Ago

Coming back from Isla's house, I went to my room and picked up the supplies needed for my latest prank on Avil. Then I went to the balcony and carefully climbed the tree and into Avil's room.

Yes, I can climb a tree, people! Not a shocker! Remember when I had hanged Avil upside down a tree and poured ice cold water on him. Yeah, I had to climb a tree for that and duct tape Avil's mouth and tie his hand hands and legs and drug him for that matter. So he wouldn't trash around and escape, duh!

See, I knew that Avil had football practice, so no one would be there in his room. Also, his parents would be at work and his sibling would be at their friends' house, so, no one was at home...like..at all.

And no, I do NOT have a crush on him. It's what happens when you hate a guy so much that you want to prank him constantly. So as to not get caught by anyone, you need to learn when his parents and him are at home and when not.

Even now, I still cannot believe how stupid Avil is! I mean, seriously, who the hell leaves their window open and not locked when nobody is at home. What if it was a robber or worse, me! Believe me, I once scared off a robber by talking too much and hitting him with a pan on his head. I wasn't scared of him but he sure was terrified of me. He even apologized to my parents that he ever planned on raiding my house and went to police without even my parents calling them. He was that desperate of getting away from me that he thought that jail was the best place on Earth to hide from me.

Anyway, getting back on track...

I first went near the door and spilled oil all over the floor. I made sure to leave a trail of oil leading to the bathroom. I then went into the bathroom and poured a small amount of temporary red dye into his shampoo and body-wash bottles, so he wouldn't recognize the colour change.

I heard a noise from downstairs. Uh oh! They're home. I quickly gathered all my supplies and did a quick check to see if I had left any evidence behind. Seeing that I hadn't, I climbed back into the balcony and ran into my room. I hid all my prank supplies and made it look like I was studying this whole time and just went out to the balcony to take a break.

Now

'Cut the crap, Anaya. I know it was you who did this', Avil said pointing to his now red hair and body.

'Me?! What are you saying? I would never do such a thing', I played innocent.

'Please..You, Anaya, are a she-devil. "I wouldn't do this", my ass, you wouldn't', Avil gritted his teeth. 'But you know what, I won't tell anyone you did this because it will just get us both in trouble. Just because I'm not complaining like a baby, like you would, does't mean that I won't get you back. Trust me Anaya, I will get you back twice as hard.'

I laughed. 'Try all you want Peaches, try all you want. Let me see if you can pull it off. Have fun being red in school tomorrow. By the way, the story on how you got red...Oops! I mean, fake story, is already posted. Have fun!'

Avil just stomped off inside. Ah! Whoever said 'Revenge is sweet' is absolutely right.

Thinking about my latest prank again, I skipped into my room chuckling to myself and thinking about the next prank I'm going to play on Avil.

Let's see what karma has in store for Avil. 'Karma' here is me, by the way.
