Chapter Sixteen : Reasons

C h a p t e r    S i x t e e n : 

I went out of his room, and I heard Aaron calling my name. I didn't bother to look back at him. When I was out I saw Casey and Pete was walking along the hallways. When they spotted me, Casey ran towards me.

"Hey there Case," I said in a sad voice.

"I hate her," I gave a questioningly face, "Barbie girl is with A! When she saw me, she scwade me."

I patted her back. "It's okay Casey."

She shook her head from side to side "I don't want to be with A if she there! I wanna stay with you!"

I giggled at her. She's so cute! "You can't baby girl. You have to stay with your big bro."

"No!" She protested "what if she'll scare me again?"

I sighed "Well, you have to ask your mommy if you want to stay with me."

She smiled at me showing her teeth. "I will!" I looked over at Pete and he was just watching us with a sad face. I went near him so we were face-to-face.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Let's go home." He turned around going to the elevator. I wonder what's wrong.

Casey was allowed to stay at my house for a few days until Aaron get out of the hospital. Aaron was still at the hospital with Sarah. The freakish yellow hair, and pink lips girl. Did I mention I hated her? Well I do.

I'm on my study desk trying to figure out this last difficult math problem. I still have piles of home works to do and pages to read since I was absent for these past few days because of him. And how does he repay me? By seeing Sarah all over again.

"Elle.." I heard a soft voice from the door. It was Casey. "I can't sleep."

I looked at the clock. It was now past midnight. "Did you have a bad dream?"

She shook her head and she came closer to me. "I was thinking of A."

"Do you miss him?" She nodded he head. "It's okay. You'll see him in a few days."

"But he's with Sawah..."

"Don't worry," I hugged her "I'll protect you from that evil witch!"

She giggled. Oh! How beautiful that sound is. It's si innocent and cute. She ran to my bed, putting on a blanket and trying to get comfortable on it.

"Come and sleep with me Elle," she begged at me with her soft voice. 

"I can't. I have to finish this last problem." She pouted her lips. I know I can't resist her. "Oh hell! I'll do it tomorrow."

I went to my bed and lyed beside her.

"You know why I hate Sawah?"

"Why?" I shifted at her, looking at her small chubby face.

"Because she stole A from me... And you." I can hear the sadness in her voice. "Since they we're together, A doesn't play with me anymore, eat with me, and he doesn't take me to park. He don't read me goodnight stories, because Sarah is always in his room."

I hugged her tightly. Before I could answer she started talking again.

"Then I wake up every night because she kept on shouting,"

"She shouts?"

She nodded her head "She keeps shouting at Aaron."

I think hard, why does she shout at Aaron? Maybe Aaron did something wrong and stupid.

"She was like 'Oh Aaron! Faster! Faster! Do it harder!'" probably mimicking on how Sarah says it.

Oh.. does she mean... Sex? Oh God, Sarah polluted Casey's innocent mind. That is just wrong. Remind me to hit Aaron when I see him, and has less injuries. 

"Oh... maybe they we're fighting?" I told her. 

"Maybe, but when I asked them the next day... They said they we're playing a racing game in A's XBox."

"They we're! Probably they were. You know? It's getting late. You should sleep, you still have school tomorrow. I mean later," Her eyes started to fall, and she yawned. She cuddled the pillow closer to the head. 

"I wish you and A will always be together...forever" she started snoring afterwards.
