Justice sat beside her mum's bed and held her hand tightly. She was glad that she was home but worried at the same time. Melody had said the doctors told her that they baby was fine but that she was gonna have to take it easy from now on. That meant no drinking. Justice didn't know how long she'd be able to last for.
And then there was Stephan, who apparently her mum had chose not to press charges against. Justice only hoped she would foresee him coming so she could change the locks or something.
After a little while, she left her mum's bed side and went downstairs to get a drink before she planned on heading to bed.
Melody was sat on the edge counter sipping something and kept her eyes on Justice until she had to swing round and ask her big sister what she was looking at.
"So where were you then?"

"I ... Went to Max's after college."

"Oh really?" She said hopping down and tapping her can with her acrylic nails.

"Yeah,"

"Cuz I called Max and he was worried sick about you saying he told you to text him when you got home and you didn't."

Shit. She forgot she'd promised to do that. She looked at melody who had an eyebrow raised and rolled her eyes.

"Why are you interrogating me?"

"You were with a boy weren't you?" She said with an all knowing smile.

"No I wasn't." She tried to make it sound as believable as possible, but even she knew it wasn't working.

"It's that pretty boy that was here isn't it? The one with the pretty eyes."

"Melody ..."

"It's okay. You can tell me!!" She said nudging her with her shoulder.

"There's nothing to tell!" She said grabbing a bottle of water. "I'm going to bed."

That night, she couldn't sleep at all. And when she finally managed to close her eyes, all she could see was Angel.

Angel didn't have much luck sleeping either. The only thing he could think about was her and how much he was regretting telling her to stop. He just kept thinking about her sitting on top of him and the way she moaned in his ear and found himself kicking off the covers suddenly consumed by a heat.
He should've never let it get that far. If his father found out, he would lose his shit and angel would probably lose his head.
The next morning came around and he found himself sat in the computer room waiting for his business studies class to start.
She hadn't arrived yet and despite Katie trying to engage him in conversation, he just kept staring at the door waiting for her to come in.
When she did, he had only wanted to take a quick look at her but once his eyes were on her he couldn't look away.
Her nose had gotten red from how cold it was outside and even though she had on a coat and a scarf, he still wanted to head over there and wrap her in his warmth.
The two of them glanced at each other for a moment before Angel broke the eye contact and turned to his friends.

Justice really hadn't expected him to sit by Katie in business studies again. Especially after last night.
She watched as he teased Katie, poking her in her sides like he usually did just because he liked to watch her squirm. He wouldn't even look in her direction. A part of her wanted to go over there to him but she knew better than that.
She was still staring when she felt someone tap her on her shoulder.

"Can I sit down?"

She looked up at a sheepish Devonte who was stood beside her. He hadn't spoken to her since before Angel had the fight with Cameron and she figured now that he knew the truth, he was coming to apologise.

She shrugged. "If you want."

"Oh, it's like that?" He said sighing but sat down anyway. "Aight, I deserve that."
