A/N: I have decided to come back.
------
White walls. Water running down and steaming everything up. Shampoo bottle in hand as if it was a microphone. That's all one could see through the fogged glass box of the bathroom as yet another musical performance took place that morning.
"Candy, she's sweet like candy in my veins..."
Taylor loved to sing in the shower, it was the best part of her day.
She always had in mind that if you fuel the first hours of your day with pure joy, it's practically impossible to have your mood ruined for the rest of it. For her, there was nothing closest to pure joy than singing a good song in a steamy and long shower.
And today was no different as she hung her robe on the bathroom wall and walked towards the stall. Her voice echoed between the tile walls as she grabbed a towell and hung it up.
"... And every night my mind is running around her..."
She stepped in the shower and took off her underwear while checking the temperature. There's nothing better than a hot shower to start the day, she thought.
"... Baby you're like lightning in a bottle
I can't let you go now that I got it..."---------
Karlie was never a morning person. That was a fact. But life wasn't a fairy tale and unfortunately she had to open her bakery early in the morning so she could drawn the best customers. Why did people wake up so early? Morning shifts should be banned.
Fuck capitalism, am I right?
So she got up, fed her dog and went straight to the bathroom to start her habitual routine.
After undressing and taking a quick look in the mirror, she organized her lotions to apply it all as soon as she stepped out and turned on the water. Cold, as she needed to get startled enough to get through the morning.
"...Drown me, you make my heart beat like the rain..." Came the muffled voice through the wall.
"Oh there she is..." Karlie whispered to herself with an amused smile.
Since last month she got used to her neighbor's voice in the morning since their showers were on opposite sides of the same apartment wall.
See she didn't pick a very fancy place to live and, as she ended up finding out after a couple weeks of living there, the apartments had very thin walls, especially on the insides where the bathrooms met. Luckily for her, that fact didn't become a problem as her neighbour turned out to be quite talented.
They never met in person, though. Probably the girls had different schedules and that's why they were never able to see each other.
Actually, now that she thought about it, it was very likely that they saw each other God knows how many times in the elevator, but never recognized each other, as Karlie wasn't much for talking to strangers for no reason.
Regardless, they would make an adorable duet sometimes and Karlie absolutely loved it. She might have memorized the girls shower routine just so she could hear her voice as often as possible, though she'd never admit it.
It made it a little less difficult for her to get up so early.
"...And all I need is to be struck by your electric love!!!" Taylor was jamming really hard to this song.
Karlie giggled as she entered the shower, that was one of her favorite songs. She really wanted to know this girl, at least musically she knew they were soulmates.
