A/N: I used several prompts from tumblr otpprompts to make this one.

When Karlie woke up, the first thing she noticed was the empty space at the other side of the bed. It was a rainy day and the sky was entirely covered in dark clouds, which was the complete opposite of the model's mood.

"Taylor?" She called.

No response.

She quickly got up and went searching for the girl in the bathroom. Nothing.

Karlie was starting to freak out when she heard some guitar strums coming from downstairs. The model made her way to the music room and watched as her friend hummed along with a baffled expression on her face. She made sure to anounce her presence with noisy steps just to avoid startling the older girl.

"How the hell did you get here?"

"I know my house Karlie, just had to use my hands to guide me a little." Taylor replied with a smirk. "Though I'm kinda scared of Meredith, I think I did almost step on her tail"

Karlie carefully walked to her friend and sat by her side, resting her chin on the girl's shoulder to peak the empty yellow sheet on her lap.

"Whatcha doin'?"

"Oh, nothing. Just have this melody in my head. No lyrics though." Taylor paused and turned her head with a slight smile. "Good morning..."

Their lips briefly met and Karlie felt her head floating. Kissing was very new to them, having it done for the first time just a few days ago and more often as Taylor's sight returned. She was still very limited, seeing only blured things, like when you do an eye check up and they make your pupils dilate for the entire day. She shouldn't be walking around the house by herself.

"Good morning... Come on, I'll make you breakfast."

They held hands all the way to the kitchen.

"What do you think of Jalapeños for dinner?"

"Shut up."

Karlie laughs as Taylor glares at her direction.

"You know it wasn't the peppers that caused this right? You had a retinal ischemia, it just happened at the same time you-"

"Karlie, I don't give a fuck for what the doctor said. It was the damn jalapeño. I can feel it."

Karlie just kept laughing at the singer's stubbornness for the rest of the morning.

"What else do you need?" Taylor asks pulling the shopping cart through the aisles in the grocery store.

"Ummm" Karlie checks the list of ingredients they needed to make dinner. "Parmesan cheese. Stay righ here, I'll get it."

"Okay."

"Don't move." She said firmly.

"For God's sake, Kar. Where do you think I'd go?"

Karlie narrows her eyes and presses her lips together observing the singer as if she's unsure about leaving her alone for a couple minutes.

"I can't see the face you're doing right now, but I know you're doing it." Taylor accuses drily.

"I'll be right back."

"No need to rush."

Taylor stands there for a moment after Karlie leaves, not knowing exactly what to do. She recalls the model saying they'd need some cookie dough for the dessert and starts to pace through the shelves.
