Her mum got very concerned and sent Evie to the doctors, she made her talk to the doctor privately but she lied to her,
"No, I don't diet, I just don't have much of an apatite"
She weighed her and told her that her bmi was very low so she does need to put on weight. Evie said that she would try to gain weight. Another lie. She was used to lying;
"I've had breakfast already"
"I'm not hungry"
"I'm full"A few weeks later Evie stopped drinking as well, no reason really, she just didn't think of it, food was all she thought about so maybe she forgot to drink. Not only that, but she limited herself to only eating half a meal a day.
Her mum was terrified, she had no idea what to do, she was seeing her daughter die right in front of her, she had to do something.
She forced Evie to go to the doctors again. In the waiting room, evie was looking at a food magazine, looking at the calories in everything.
This time the doctor wanted her to have blood tests done, but they put the needle in her arms 5 times but got no blood, because she hadnt drunk anything yet so her blood wouldn't come out. She had to lie down because she felt very faint.The doctor then took her blood pressure and pulse. She looked at her mum with a very concerned look upon her face. She then wrote something down on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope and passed it to her mum. Then she said to visit the hospital and pack a little bag just in case Evie had to stay there.
