Chapter 9 - one more chapter to go!! :))) yay!!

December 23, 4:58

"Ha...ve...you found...he..r...yet?" Drew panted through the line. He had searched all over the route that goes from the school to May's house.

When he heard the answers no from everyone, saying that he was pissed was an understatement. He was beyond furious to be exact.

"Tch." This time he slammed his fist down onto the car's hood,"Idiot."

1st person POV

I watched her snuggle deeper into the pillow as if she had never felt anything so soft. My lips twitched up as she sighed unconsciously in her sleep.

That was when I felt something vibrate in my pocket. I rolled my eyes and answered the call.

"Hey-"

"Took you long enough." I interrupted him.

"You-"

"She fine. Jeez it's not like I'm the type who would carelessly-"

"Dude you are, I can't believe you haven't noticed it yet, but you are the type who would do things to others carelessly."

He sighed over the line,"Where are you?"

I scoffed,"Like I'll tell you."

He grunted,"Even if you don't tell me, I have my ways." I snorted at his bluff, does he seriously think I'll fall for it, he must've taken me as an idiot then.

"Hey. Why do you like her?"

"..."

"...do I have to have a reason to have like for someone?"

I suddenly had an urge to break the phone, what in the world is he talking about?! Of course you need a reason to like someone, otherwise why would you fall in love in the first place?!

"-yo. Yo! Open the door."

I frowned when I saw him at the door,"How did you get here so fast?"

"Tch, your not as smart as you think you are Brendan, now where is she?" Drew said leaning against the door frame.

"She's needed at the party tomorrow. And it'll be best if she's there all in one piece."

I rolled my eyes,"She's on the couch." I moved away from the door to let him pass through.

His eyes immediately changed when he saw her. Those soft and caring eyes, and they are only for her.

It's not fair, because I knew him before she knew him.

So why am I not as close as they are?

Why did he leave me...

...just for her?

I walked towards the window in the room.

I watched as he carried her out. As he opened the passenger door of his car, and gently laid her in.

Her hands latching onto him arm as she mumbled in her sleep.

"Tch."

I closed the curtains and walked into my room.

"I have fallen for her...

...is it a bad thing?"

I was quite shocked when he told me that.

And it was the last thing he told me before I departed to a private school.

Drew's POV

"Hey, let go." I ordered as she grabbed one of my arm and hugged it towards her. "Oi! Wake up!"

The funny thing was that the harder I tried to pull away, the more she latches onto it.

I sighed in defeat and reached into my pocket.

"I found her."

Only for today, I'll let you go.

It was my last thought when her family came and picked her up.

Tomorrow...
I'll make sure to replace the memory of what happened...

...all those years ago.

Oh my god! The next chapter may be the last chapter!

This may be the first story I've actually ever completed...

And also, do you guys think it's too rushed? Or is the plot just right?
