I walk past the soldiers all saluting me to my room and lock it's door behind me. I toss my uniforms jacket to the floor, then lift it and hang it up in my closet to keep the floor clean. I sit down on a chair and sigh, relaxing after a trip outside the walls. 548 injured and 673 casualties... The exact number, and I'm still called heartless. I look to the empty glass I always keep on the table and refuse to give in again. I stand and grab a bottle of vodka and sit back down. God damnit I'll never stop... But
Is there a reason to? God my life is a living hell and how can I keep a single cold heartless face on this entire time. I stare at the wall, taking a swig from the bottle. Well... I better get sleep to see the cadets trained and prepared to take the place of casualties. I change into nightwear and pull the covers up to my shoulders as I turn to my side. 'Night, Not a good one...
