you have an asthma attack (requested)

The second the front door opened, Jihyo was met with a feeling of peace and comfort as it hit her that she was finally home.

She's spent the last few months on tour with the girls and through all of the long flights, concerts, and busy schedules, she's been looking forward to coming home to you.

"Hey, baby," You smiled as you came out of the kitchen and into the living room.

You watched her set her bags down and smile at you from ear to ear before running over to you and she melted when she finally had her arms around you.

She hugged you so tightly that it knocked the air right out of your lungs.

"Jihyo!" You laughed and squirmed around in her arms, trying to push her hands away and get her to put you back on your feet as she spun you around.

"I've missed you so much, Y/N. I never want to let you go."

She breathed in the scent of your shampoo and then your perfume and as happy as you were to be back in her arms, her grip was so tight that you couldn't breathe well at all.

"JIhyo? I can't breathe."

You started to feel breathless and your lungs started to feel tight before you began to wheeze, the sound immediately being heard by her.

"Are you okay, baby?"

Your breathing was much too fast and heavyt and the wheezing sound terrified her.

She immediately put you down and you hurried to the table beside the couch where your inhaler was.

You sat down and she rushed to sit beside you as you took the cap off and took a puff, instantly breathing in the medication to help you breathe again.

"Did I hold you too tight?"

You took another puff and she went wide-eyed, realizing that was exactly what had set it off.

"I did, didn't I? Oh, baby, I'm so sorry! I can't believe that I caused you to feel that out of breath. I feel awful. Are you alright?"

You were still quiet as you took a few breaths just to be sure that you were okay again.

"Should I call an ambulance? I'll call right now!"

She shakily pulled her phone out from her pocket but you stopped her from dialing by grabbing her hand in yours.

"No, Jihyo, baby. You don't have to do that. I'm okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure." You said before leaning in to kiss her cheek. "I promise, I'm just fine. I just got a little scared when I couldn't breathe. I think my panicking made you panic."

She quickly nodded in agreement before saying,

"Yeah, but it's normal to panic when you're having an asthma attack and can't breathe. That sound of you wheezing always sends a chill down my spine. It scares me."

You squeezed her hand with a small smile, hoping that her mind would settle down now that you were feeling alright again.

"I caused it to happen. I caused your asthma attack. I feel awful."

She lowered her gaze and you could tell that she felt so guilty.

"I held you way too tight. I should've been more careful and gentle. I'm sorry, Y/N,"

"Jihyo, don't beat yourself up. I have bad asthma and the littlest things set it off. I like that you hugged me like that. I didn't want you to let me go, trust me. I love your big, tight squeezes."

She looked into your eyes and when she cracked a smile, the look of guilt started to leave her eyes and it brought you relief.

"Don't beat yourself up. We've been apart for so long and I've missed you. I just want you to hold me."

You moved onto her lap and buried your face in her neck before feeling her arms wrap around you though her grip was much gentler this time around, almost like she feared that if she held you any tighter you might have another asthma attack.

"You can hold me tighter than that! Come on, baby. I missed you so much."

She tightened her grip just a little and a breath of relief left your lips at the feeling.

"I love you."

"I love you too." She said before kissing your head. "I'm so happy to finally be home. I've missed my girl so very much."

"I've missed you too." You said as you put your head on her shoulder, feeling more at peace than you have in a long time, now that she was finally home.
