Chapter 5

Anna's Pov

*A month later....*

I turned the key in the door. I was living with Niall now ever since me and Harry took a break. Me and Niall had become best friends so I loved living with him. On the other hand me and Harry were talking again, but we were just friends, for the moment. I had actually just met up with him for a coffee at Starbucks.

My life was really begining to turn around for the better. I had gotten a job in a local convienence store. I was talking to Harry again. And I had Niall as an awesome best friend.

I closed the front door behind me. All the lights were switched off. Niall musnt be home, I thought.

It was dark so I felt around the wall for a light switch. Suddenly the sitting room light switched on revealing Niall standing in the sitting room. I jumped and put a hand over my heart dramatically. I looked up at Niall. He looked sort of ... angry?

'Niall! Gosh you scared me!' I whinned as I sunk into the cushiony sofa.

'Where were you?' Niall asked with anger in his voice. I was taken back by his tone.

I hadnt told Niall I was talking to Harry again. Niall didnt want me to talk to Harry because, quote 'He doesnt deserve you after what he done.' So I had to meet up with Harry privatly.

I shruged my shoulders. 'Just out for a coffee.'

Niall frowned and ran a hand through his hair. 'With who?'He asked angrilly. Gosh he was begining to act like he was my dad!

'Why do you have to know?' I spat back. I was an 18 year old girl, he didnt have to treat me like a child.

'You were with him, wernt you?' He hissed with sadness flooding his eyes. I couldnt lie to Niall so I decided to tell him the truth. It was about time I told him, I couldnt hide it anymore.

'Yes I was Niall. Is there a problem with that?' I exclaimed whilst throwing my hands in the air. Niall faced me and looked hurt. I sighed feeling guilty that I had upset him. But He inched closer to me.

'Yeah it is a problem.' He mumbled comming closer to me. I was a little taken back by

how close he was to me. But I felt.. comfortable.

'Whats wrong Niall? Youve been so protective of me lately?' I said quietly whilst staring into his gorgeous blue orbs. It was true, he asked were I went every day, who I was with and what I done.

Niall put his hands on my shoulder. 'Its because I dont want him to hurt you again.' I closed my eyes. 'Him has a name you know?' I mumbled.

Niall sighed and stroked a piece of stray hair that jutted out from my ponytail. I wondered why I hadnt pushed him away from me for standing so close.

To be honest I kind of liked it..

I snaped out of my thoughts. Nialls face was barely touching mine. 'Ni..' I began, but he interrupted me.

'Anna I love you. I love you.' He said whilst frowning a little. He loved me? Love?

He placed a hand on my cheek. My brain screamed no, to push him away. But my heart told me to go with it. I breathed in the scent of his aftershave.

'Anna I really love you. I really do.' He sighed.

'But I..' Before I knew it a pair of lips smashed on to mine.
