'The girl.... She's so cute!' I think to myself.
"hey" I say softly.
She squeaks and tries to back farther into the corner.
I sigh mentally "dont be scared. You're safe now."
She scoots forward and holds her arms up to be carried. So I pick her up and she holds onto me tightly.
I turn to Cole "hey Cole...what's the likelyhood of us finding excel?"
Cole looks at me sternly "we need to get out of here. Find food and shelter. Those are our top priorities right now Parker."
I blink and think  'geez what got you all pissy....' I scowl.
Cole, the girl, and I walk to a safe location to rest and eat. I suddenly realise that we only have food for two people, so I split my rations with her.
