"Oh God." I mumbled to myself.
"You'll be okay," Cat smiled.
"What if he stands me up? AGAIN!?" I freaked.
"He wont. Chill."
"This is so unlike you." I frowned.
"What?" Cat frowned back.
"That you're not freaking out like me! I'm sooo nervous! This is so unlike me!" I shouted at her, flailing my skinny arm, bangles bounced up and down.
"Oh my good golly gosh," she laughed, "Its no biggie. I just am not freaked."
I knitted my brows together, "And why is that?"
"Well, see. I talked to Collin last night."
"Oh." I shut up.
"He's coming back. He went off and stayed in some hotel his dad paid for. " she smiled, hoping for a reaction to the 'good' news.
"Interesting." I nodded.
"Its great!" she smiled, "I missed Collin sooo much! I never realized how much I love him!"
"Wow, thats good." I forced a smile.
"Yep!" she beamed. Probably to happy to realize I honestly didnt care if Collin ever came back.

"Hi." I looked around to connect a face with the cute country accent.
"Oh!" I turned around finally finding Nate, "Hi." I smiled.
"Ready for this date?" he winked.
"Date?" I could feel my eyes grow wide.
"Yeah. Date. " he smiled again, and I became woozy, "So..."
"Sooo, what?"
"Lets go, Superwoman!" he grabbed my wrist, pulling me into the bowling alley.
"God, I'm going tobe horrible." I frowned.
"You aint gonna be horrible" he said, his country grammar showing, "You'll be great."
"Okay. Okay." I grabbed a ball, my favorite color a rusty red.
"Your gonna use that?" he pointed to the ball, I was struggling to hold.
"Yes. Why?" I blinked.
"It looks heavy, Superwoman." he blinked back, raising his eyebrows.
"It is." I coughed out.
"Here, I'll help."he made his way over to me.
The I did it. I did the worst thing ever. I dropped the ball.
On his foot.
"Holy shit!" shrieked Nate.
"Bloody hell, are you okay?!" I quickly scooted the ball away.
"I'm great." he winced through the pain.
"Oh God, Nate I'm sooooooooooooooooooo sorry!"
"Its okay. Lets just go the emergency room." he smiled, his eyes stinging with pain.

"Oh well, his foots broke. And he might need surgery." Doctor Focter said. Honestly? You just had to become a bloody doctor?
"Oh God! Its all my fault! I'll pay for the surgery or whatever i have to!" I shouted, holding onto Nate.
"Its no big, Superwoman."he smiled, pulling me tighter and patting my hand.
Shivers went down my spine. "Im soo sorry." I said.
"Its okay." he cooed, running his fingers through my hair.
"Promise?"
"I promise on my promise." he winked.
"Okay. Fine." I smiled.
"You know, lets not go bowling our next date." he laughed.
"Why?" I smirked.
"Bcause for you: Balls are very dangerous." he smirked in return.
